This was our first "duck boat" tour in the Cayman Islands and it was worth the time and money. We booked on our Carnival cruise ship. It was only a short walk to the vehicle. The tour includes driving the streets of Grand Cayman for about 30 minutes before entering the water. It was slightly rough and a few people looked a little green but no one lost their lunch. The TV camera is worthless but you will see the bottom and the fish by looking over the window ledge. We also spent about 30 minutes at 7 mile beach and Royal Palm Resort before heading back for shopping, car hopping or to the cruise ship. Have your sail card and passport ready to go through customs.

We went on a the Stingray City tour arranged with Marineland by our cruise ship. We loved it! The boat and crew is really nice. I really liked that they have am almost zero entry step into the water. They also ensure that every one has a chance to touch, kiss or feed the stingrays. I do recommend you bring a waterproof camera or camera bag as they do not have a photographer onboard (which I appreciated). After seeing the other types of boats that came up, I definitely felt like we were on the best tour.

We visited stingray city on the Cayman Explorer. It had been a few years since our last visit to see the stingrays. The boat and crew were the best we have seen. Very easy entry and exit to and from water. Guides were very helpful and knowledgeable. Snacks were available for a fee but we did not use so not sure of pricing. This tour is accessible to all level visitor, our group had a person with a wheelchair.

This was one of my favorite shore excursions only because I had never swam with stingrays before. We also got to feed them which was cool. We were told to form a circle, but after we finished with the stingrays we were able to snorkel. The water was crystal clear and it was beautiful! There was only one downside. One of the crew men that stayed on the boat rubbed me the wrong way when he had me swim back to the boat and swim down to the bottom of the ocean (about chest high water) to retrieve the broken snorkel that I was trying to exchange for my son. He didn't get it for me which I thought he would do and he never gave me a functioning snorkel. Other than that, the excursion was fun. I only took 1 photo because we didn't have an underwater camera (which you can buy for about $20 on the boat).
