Had a superb 2-tank dive trip and everything was outstanding. The dive masters (Lauren and Will) were very knowledgeable of waters, gave great undersea tours, were helpful with dive gear, and our of course kept safety first.

The dive boat was large and covered, with a cooler of free fresh water. It was easy to step off the bow, and the stern ladder and ledge were easy for boarding. A bucket of defogger was available for masks and there was a hose for a quick fresh water rinse at the end of our dives. The dive boat had 2 regulators at 20-ft for urgent/emergency use (which I used after my first dive because I sucked down air too quickly).

I was in Grand Cayman for a Cruise ship visit, and the cruise ship scuba excursion was already fully booked by the time I got around to making a reservation. So I contacted Don Foster Dive Shop directly, and they were very helpful with my independent reservation. They met us on the pier and provided transportation to and from the ship.

My daughter and I had our own masks and snorkels, and the fully stocked dive shop gave us the rest of our gear. When my issued fins were tight during the first dive, the dive master offered larger fins from the stock on the dive boat.

In summary, I highly recommend Don Foster Dive Shop in Grand Cayman. They are experts, friendly, and accommodating.

This was a very fun, relaxing time. Our Boat had Lauren, Will and Mandy on it. They provided excellent service as well as being very knowledgeable for those of us who were new to snorkeling. They made the trip very enjoyable and fun. Lovely weather, water and crew to make this a very nice adventure.

I spent January and February in Grand Cayman. I dove many times morning two tank dive with Don Fosters . The service was excellent, the boats are in great shape and the diving was excellent. I saw the staff go the extra mile to help divers who were having a little difficulty,

Our family just traveled to the Caymans for the first time only months after getting our Scuba certifications in Saint Louis, MO. Don Foster’s Dive shop was highly recommended to us by a family friend living on the Island. We took two trips out on the Don Foster dive boat “Cayman Wall.” Each time, we were lucky enough to be paired with Nick. The Scuba diving in the Cayman Islands was incredible, and we are so happy with our experience. A HUGE part of our fantastic experience was Nick himself. Nick is highly knowledgeable about the different dive locations and marine life, along with being extremely helpful in setting up our gear. His passion for diving was infectious. Every critter we saw on our dives would be followed up by multiple fun facts about that creature from Nick. Our favorite thing about him was his tendency to speak in full sentences whilst underwater, and his symbols for different animals and attractions are spot on! We enjoyed diving with Nick so much that we even talked him into taking us out for a night dive, bringing our dives with him to a grand total of five. Nick has found the right job for him, and I hope he continues working with Don Foster’s dive shop creating such a unique experience for its customers. Fingers crossed; we will be back in the Caymans soon. And you can bet we will be hunting Nick down to take us on more Dives!!

My husband and I booked an afternoon snorkel through our cruise ship. Lauren and Will were so cute together and so funny! We went to two different reefs and snorkeled for 45 minutes each time. We highly recommend choosing this excursion in Grand Cayman through Celebrity cruises.

Don Foster's staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they have amazing local expertise that ensure a fun dive every time, no matter the conditions of that day. We spend 2 months in the Cayman and dove with Don Foster almost every single day. Not one bad experience, both boat and shore diving. Full tanks, flexible dive times, and wonderful staff add to the underwater beauty of Grand Cayman.

Sergio, Nick, Lindsey and JP are skilled in finding and teaching you about all sorts of underwater life, making the dive a great learning experience. They go above and beyond; they truly care about each diver on the boat, ensuring everyones safety and making accommodations when need. They cater the experience to the divers on the boat creating a truly unique experience.

We had a great time diving!! Sergio accommodated us on a short notice dive, to include changing the dive time to work with our cruise ship arrival to port. Diving was fantastic, with a turtle encounter, multiple rays, garden eels, and multitudes of reef fish. We saw one grouper getting his teeth cleaned, and another, getting his gills cleaned!! Capt JP and crew Lindsey were professional, knowledgable and just alot of fun!! Thank you, Sergio and Tracy, JP and Lindsey, for another great memory with Don Foster's Dive Center. If you are reading this, do not miss an opportunity of a lifetime!!!

We've done discover dives before and this one was tops! We booked through our cruise line. Eammon and Will were great. We are one dive from certifying so we know they did a fabulous job explaining all the details of both diving and the equipment. Better than tebh instruction on our first discover dive. And so was the location. We were down for about an hour, I think and it was a lovely location. Lots of fish, some crabs, really pretty coral formations, and beautiful clear, warm waters. The group started out as 7, but two people were unable to adjust to the idea of breathing underwater and the third was a spouse who chose to not dive if the other couldn't. Then I had trouble equalizing my ears (been having ear issues) and thought I wouldn't be able to go either. But Will and Eammon encouraged me to go into the boat slip and try again. I'm so glad they did. I was able to descend a little ways and was able to go on the dive. While everyone else dove about 35 feet I stuck around 15 or 20 feet and Will (shorter for William, long for Wuh) stuck right with me. The whole experience was fabulous and I can't thank these gentlemen enough for it. Good teachers, all around great guys, and I'm so glad that they get to do what they love everyday!

Booked this dive ( Certified Diver 2 Tank Dive) through Norwegian Breakaway.
Don Foster and his staff are excellent. They provided all the gear and a great group of tour guides.
We had a very small group this day, Just three of us from the cruise ship and the two staff members from Don Fosters, ( Mandy from Scotland and Capt Laura) these two were sensational, very knowledgeable and friendly. We hit two different locations and had a blast, we went through tunnels and narrow passage ways, all the while seeing some awesome fish and other site. So much fun.
Second dive location was a shallow wreck 40 to 60 ft of water, and once again a lot of fish and sea life.
On the way back to the dive center we were called over to another dive boat, two people were having some minor issues and needed to get to shore. On the way in, one of the divers began having a uncontrolled nose bleed, As a firefighter/paramedic I immediately offered assistance and my medical background kicked in. The diver was treated and we all returned to the pier safe and sound.
Mandy you are terrific, thanks for an unforgettable time. Laura you as well were terrific and got us back to the dock with out hesitation.
I would recommend this Dive center to all my dive friends.
I will love to return and spend some more time with you folks.
Thanks for the adventure.

This was an excursion offered by the Disney cruise line the crewmembers especially Captain Lauren were wonderful- knowledgeable encouraging and they made the entire trip fun. They were great with kids and adults. I am not a good swimmer yet I was encouraged to get into the water and that they would keep an eye on me. Knowing that this was a family excursion they did a wonderful job of making sure we had a good time but also that we were safe.
