The crew and staff at Captain Marvin's was amazing! We had the best time of our lives and I'm not exaggerating. The boat was fabulous- the captain allowed a few of us to ride up top with him which was incredible. The crew made sure we all had a personal experience with the stingrays (or as much as everyone wanted). The snorkel stop was excellent- we even ended up having a female stingray swim with us during our snorkeling. We hope to book with them again for next year. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Captain Marvin's!

I should have wrote this review sooner. I will admit it was longer than tripadvisor would allow me to put in here as a visit. This place went above and beyond to make my vacation special for my two sons and I. I had purchased an excursion online from Captain Marvins (may have been an affiliate site) for stingray city and snorkeling. My two sons were teenagers. When we arrived at Capt. Marvins the gentleman checking us in did not see our reservation. I was able to show him the reservation I had online and he was able to confirm that there was a reservation made, however, he had no boats going out at the time designated on my reservation. He felt there was a glitch in the system. Because our time was limited due to being on a cruise ship we couldn't wait for the next trip time. The gentleman at Captain Marvin's waved a magic wand or something and was able to get my sons and I transferred on a private bus to a private boat out to Stingray City! The two guys on the boat were awesome! The guy who goes into the water to attract the stingrays was awesome. We felt like royalty or celebrities being out there on a boat with just the three of us. They made us feel very special in every way. This was so important as a single mom, trying to do something so special with the kids. Please use this company for your next tour. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed the lunch at the yacht club, and three dives. Awesome experience. Loved the hosts, and learning about conch, the ocean, the culture and food! We would recommend this trip to anyone! Best on the island.

This was our second time going out with Captain Marvin's. We went on the Stingrays, Starfish, and Snorkeling trip and it was very enjoyable. The tours leave from their office, which is across the street from the Westin, which was the hotel where we were staying. Once everyone on our tour was at the office, which also had a shop selling souvenirs, clothing, and sunscreen, we got on a bus that took us to the boat. Staff helped those who needed snorkel gear and showed us the proper way to hold the squid to feed to the rays. We stayed in a group at Stingray City which was much more crowded than previous visits. We stayed together so that we could feed the stingrays and the crew could keep track of the group. While you're in the water the stingrays will rub against you, looking for food. Second stop was at Coral Gardens where we saw numerous fish, fans, and coral. The last stop was at Starfish Point. We've been to Grand Cayman a number of times, but had never heard of this. The water is shallow and there are starfish of varying size and color. You can pick up the starfish, but not take them out of the water so as not to harm/kill them. The trip was midday and no food was served, so we took sandwiches with us. Snorkel gear was provided to those who did not bring their own. We will certainly go on this trip again. We're supposed to be back in May 2020, but afraid COVID19 has other plans for our trip!
