With over 60 years in business, Captain Marvin's Watersports is the founder and original stingray friendly company on the island. We are delighted to show you the wonders of Stingray City, as well as beautiful coral formations, colorful fish and sea...more

It was really cool to swim among the sting rays and feed them! They are pets to the guides and they each have a name. The snorkeling was ok. Nothing special. We had two snorkeling stops but they were only about 1/2 mile from each...More
First time with Captain Marvin's. Good boat and crew, however I was not impressed with the refreshments. No snacks, no sodas, it bottled water. Just a gallon jug of water and a gallon jug of juice to be poured into plastic cups. No very sanitary....More
We visited Cayman on a cruise and we went with this tour because of my husbands father who lives on the island. Nonetheless it was a great choice. The boat was clean and the crew was very helpful, they even let us try steering the...More
I did my research and had found Captain Marvin to be highly recommended and very professional. They responded to my email queries very promptly...Lucas deserves a special mention here. The excursion itself is a once in a lifetime experience. My wife and daughter do not...More
We were on a cruise ship that had to dock at the alternate dock on the island rather than the main dock because of weather conditions. The agency who booked the tour for us had it printed on the voucher that this might occur and...More
First class all the way. Bus pick up was easy on on time to boat. The crew was very friendly and did everything possible to help make it a great adventure. Snorkeling was amazing and the stingray stop was incredible. Lots of hugs and pictures....More
My husband and I just got back from Grand Cayman and I cannot recommend this tour enough! The area that they take you to is incredibly beautiful (not far from Starfish beach) with some of the best snorkeling I have ever been exposed to. The...More
We went on the Capt. Jimmy boat last week. It was a good experience overall. The snorkeling stops at Barrier Reef and especially Coral Gardens were amazing and my favorite part of the trip. The crew put some chum in the water at Coral Gardens...More

People have replied saying they were able to make their cruise. We weren’t trying to get back to a ship. But knowing the transfers between their boat and our hotel, I would try to make sure that they transfer you directly to your cruise ship, instead of taking you to their office first. Then you should be OK. Kiss a stingray for me!
I would call them and ask. They were very prompt for our excursion in March. And it takes about 5 minutes to walk to them after you tender in. That is in your favor because they are close to the tender drop off.
My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon in Provo yesterday. We were there from 7/5 - 7/17 and had a great time! I'm going to break out these reviews as I have time. :) Here's what I thought of the excursions we took. Sun and Fun Seasports - We took a one hour guided jet skiing ride with them. It was a lot of fun. It was just my husband and I on one jet ski and the guide on another and we followed a ways behind the guide. We stopped off at Dellis Cay and played on the beach a...More

KatLady- How much was the Silver Deep, Middle Caicos excursion? Just curious.... I have never booked with Silver Deep or Sail Provo. I'm glad you did have some good experiences while on-island.

Does anyone have a suggestion as a tour group for stingray city? Looking for a smaller tour group and from the posts on this site it seems to stay away when the cruise ships are in port. It would be for 5 adults going in 2 weeks. Captain Marvin...Dexter's?

I would suggest Ebanks Watersports. I found their website at Ebankswatersports.com. You can see a whole thing I wrote about our experience with them and our trip to Stingray City and the reef on the review portion of Trip advisor. I also have four pictures at my post so you can see what we saw. They are great for smaller tour's, as well as bigger, but if you book them for a private charter it is awesome. Good luck and hope you all have as much fun as we did.

We spent 10 days last month & it was our best family vacation! So we decided to take our family summer vacation back on the island! We did so much our first trip but still have a wish list & are excited to come back & work on it! We did a snorkel, conch dive, stingray city & lunch trip with Captain Marvin's & it was worth every penny & then some! Spent a day at the Botanical Gardens. Went to the Turtle Farm & Hell. Saw the Blow Holes. Explored much of the island...More

We enjoyed the bioluminescence tour with Cayman Kayaks. We went on their small catamaran rather than kayaking, but since you kayak you might prefer that. The tour operates on certain days based on the phase of the moon. You can check their website to see if there are tours available during your vacation.
