My husband and I chose the 9PM group tour. We were staying in West Bay, and so it is about an hour drive to Rum Point. Wear your swim suit with a shirt and shorts that can get wet. Flip flops are helpful. Our tour...More

The kayak we did to the bioluminescent bay was by far the best part of my visit to the Cayman islands. The tour guide was very patient with us and the experience was amazing. Would definitely recomend

This was the highlight of our trip. Even had we not seen the bioluminescence, it would have been a trip highlight just for kayaking in the pitch dark in warm waters. Wow! Impossible to describe except for twinkly, magical, and wonderful! Don't miss it! p.s....More

Do not miss the Bioluminescence tour. Was so interesting. Kids would LOVE this. Great way to see Grand Cayman and some pretty cool sea life.

I don't know about the shuttle, you could ask at your hotel. Cost was $59

You'd have to check with them, they only run when it's dark enough to see the bioluminescence.
