We hadn't booked an excursion for Grand Cayman and a travel agent onboard our ship recommended Royal Palms to us. We walked from the port which took about 30 minutes but opted to taxi back for $4 each person. It is cheap to get in but if you rent a cabana, it is included. We knew the beach would be... More

This is a beach club located in the middle of 7 mile beach. We booked this thru shore excusioneer.com. We started off to a rocky start, coming in at one cruise terminal only to find out they don't pick us up there, so we had to walk to the other cruise terminal. Short drive to the beach club, in our... More

This was our first port on a recent Carnival Glory cruise, but our 3rd visit to Grand Cayman. We had spent a week in GC prior so just wanted a beach day for our first day off the boat. We booked a beach cabana. Juliette and Michael took very good care of us. The food was good. Loved the ceviche.... More

Yes, the beach was busy because there were 7 cruise ships in port. The restaurant and bar had quick and easy service despite the number of people. My BBQ burger was delicious although not cooked medium as requested. The prices on the menus are in local dollars so my burger was $18USD...a bit expensive, but high quality. The beach and... More

We arrived around 1:00 on a recent cruise (Liberty of the Seas). Now, admittedly, I was in a rather foul mood since our tender issue really delayed our arrival time, but that ultimately had nothing to do with the club. The beach - BEAUTIFUL! Seven mile beach is not to be missed. I would actually say ditch the Sting Rays... More

The Royal Palms is the best place ever. We have been to the Grand Caymans three times in the last six years, and each time we found ourselves spending about three quarters of our time at the Royal Palms. It boasts an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Our trip, and our time at the Royal Palms, was defined by the... More

We recently traveled to Grand Cayman while on a cruise. I had researched good beach options and found Royal Palms. It was super crowded when we got there. It's a decent set-up but definitely busy with all the cruise ships in port. As I had read, the prices were steep for lunch. They give you a bill with the price... More

We wanted a beach day off our cruise and this was an excellent location. We got there early and got chairs facing the beautiful ocean. Our waiter was excellent, called us by name, and was there every time we needed something. The beach is absolutely beautiful and could not have asked for a better beach day. The food was good,... Our snorkeling excursion was cancelled due to high winds, so we went here based on a recommendation. It was a nice place, a little crowded, but we found a nice spot. It was good for the couple hours we spent there. We had lunch, which was amazing...a little pricey, but good. For only $2 a person (extra costs for chairs... More

We got off the Disney Fantasy at Grand Cayman with no particular plan other than to spend the day at the beach. After getting off the ship we went to the visitor center and asked for a reasonably priced beach spot nearby. They recommended the Royal Palms. It was a 5 minute cab ride from port. To access the beach it... More
