We booked the excursion through our cruise ship (Celebrity Apex) and we were with Kelly's Tours. We were picked up at the pier and drove about 20 minutes to the boat dock. It was raining so we were soaked by the time we reached the sandbar but then the sun came out. The water was so warm and clear. We swam around and there are stingray everywhere. We had an underwater sleeve for our iPhone and were able to take some great pics. The boat also takes photos of you holding stingray. Can't recommend this tour enough. We had a blast.

This was an excursion we participated in from our cruise. It was absolutely amazing! Being surrounded by and interacting with stingrays was definitely our highlight. While there was a little anxiety involved, stingrays are otherwise just calm and curious. So soft, they felt like velvet. The tour guide was very sweet as were the boat captain and mates. We will attend again when in Grand Caymans. Definitely a must do tour.

Booked this excursion on the ship. Kelly's tour picked us up at the pier and drove us 20 min. to the boat. Took the boat to stingray sandbar. They took pictures with the stingrays. Then went to coral gardens where you could use a snorkel and fins. Awesome time spent swimming. On the way back they came around with pictures if you wanted to purchase them. They took us back to the pier.

Recently on a celebrity cruise and this tour was booked through the ship. Have been to stingray city multiple times and this was the worst. They only got one stingray in and held it for pictures. We could see MANY stingrays with other boats but not feeding them- it was obvious this was only for picture purposes. On the way back- the boat went extremely slow and we were told it was because the busses weren’t there. However, after they had gone around to all the people and pictures had been purchased or not, the boat suddenly picked up speed and the busses were miraculously ‘there’. We have visited many times and will never use this company again. This was clearly an attempt to sell photos and nothing more.

We booked the trip through Tui from the cruise.
Whilst it was lovely to see the rays be warned that the photos you pay for never arrive. Emails go unanswered. Phone calls are ignored. TUI reps refuse to help as they use an agency and you are left well out of pocket.

Kellys Watersports - the Kelly Ray

While the tour itself was a memorable one, and the majority of the staff you could tell very much enjoyed their job. I was left with a sour taste in my mouth when we never recieved photos that were purchased onboard. Several attempts were made to contact (calling, texting emailing, contacting our in board excursions team, and emailing the cruise line directly) and not a soul responded to us. Thankfully I paid with credit so I can dispute the charge, posting this a a buyer beware.

I booked this excursion about 2 weeks before our cruise. We were on the Carnival Legend/Western Caribbean cruise. The tour left from the Grand Cayman Inn. You just walk through the hotel and back to the water where there is a little booth set up. I will say this was a bit confusing. We had originally booked saying that we wanted transportation provided, which may be where the confusion was. None of the emails really specified where the tour left from. All we had to do was call the number in the email and cancel our pre arranged transportation and they told us where it left from. This was our FAVORITE excursion. No matter who you go through, you should definitely do this one while in Grand Cayman. Wave Runners may not be for everyone, but if they are, I highly recommend booking through Island Marketing. Leon was the name of our guide. He was AWESOME! We really enjoyed him and he was a great guide. Prices were fair and we had no issues. I definitely recommend having sun glasses or some kind of goggles for the wave runners. I ended up riding in the back with my eyes shut most of the time because they stung so badly. Eventually you get use to it, but just a suggestion. I think this was the most fun way to get to sting ray city. It was just our family of 5 and one other person in our group which was awesome because you spend one on one time with your guide. A lot of the other tours were on big boats with a larger group of people. Leon was super knowledgable and made us all (even my mom who didn't want to get off the wave runner!) feel super comfortable and she was kissing the sting rays in no time :) It really was an incredible experience. From there, he gave us the choice of snorkeling or going to rum point. We chose snorkeling and saw some pretty neat things. We brought our own snorkel but we were able to use their flippers and goggles for no extra charge. He also took us over to star fish beach for a few minutes on our way back. This is definitely worth the money and is an unforgettable experience.

I took a tour with Captain "William" aka Googhi. I chartered the boat for the day and we went snorkelling and we were also taken on a stingray tour! My first time in Grand Cayman and I could not have asked for a better tour guide! Captain William knew everything there is to know about the island. He made me and my friends feel at home on the boat and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time!!

Everything was well prepared from the start. The boat was beautiful and clean and we had were served more than enough to drink :-) the tour had a wonderful atmosphere! We all had a lot of fun during our time in the water and we loved swimming with the sting rays :-)

It was like paradise surrounded by the beautiful scenery and the crew made it all the more special!!
They made sure all of our special moments were captured on camera and we could spend the time enjoying the experience.

If anyone wants to experience Grand Cayman and all it has to offer I wouldn't recommend anyone else other than Cayman Splash Tours. I cant wait to go back and tour with them again!

What a wonderful experience! As indicated previously, it was like spending the day with a friend. There were 6 of us and we rented the whole boat, still cost us less than the tours from the ship. Before we ever got on the boat, he let us stop for snacks and sodas, then took us to a local brewery to taste the local beer and buy some for on the boat. At Stringray city he was in the water with us making sure we had the best possible experience, and made sure we got some awesome pictures. He then took us to the most incredible snorkeling ever. Beautiful crystal clear water, no one around and most fish and coral than I have seen in the past. We went to several other locations to see starfish, mangroves wiith bird watching, jellyfish, a great beach. While we were with him all day, he let us determine how long we spent at each place and made sure we got to see everything we wanted to see. He had lots of stories to tell and made the whole day delightful. I would highly recommend this option when in Grand Cayman.

I went on the Outrage Ecotour with John Michael to Stingray City Sandbar, the reef and Starfish Beach with my husband and children (13 and 11). The trip was fantastic. John Michael picked us up near the cruise ship tender and drove us to his boat. On the way, he stopped off for us to pick up Caybrew because we had emailed him ahead of time that we wanted to try the local beer. He also offered to let us pick up food on the way or go to Rum Point for lunch, but we only had enough time to do the half day tour, so we didn't need anything to eat and wanted to spend more time on the water. John Michael was very laid back. It was like going out on a boat with an old friend. He let us spend as much or as little time at each stop as we wanted and was careful to get us back to town in plenty of time to catch our tender. He was informative and helpful with everything we did and even took pictures for us with our camera. The day could not have been any better. Would love to go again!
