We did the kayak tour for the bioluminescence by night with our 2 children (5 and 9) with 2 stops for the starfish (better to be seen the day) and the jelly fish (explained how to touch) and we also saw the disco shrimps (lighting in the night). Swimming in the bioluminescence bay was amazing. Our 2 guides gave us a lot of explanations. The tour is not easy (especially with children) but the guides come with a boat and you can go on this boat when you want. Thanks to Francesca and his colleague.

Had a great trip to see the bioluminescence, which was incredible. I've seen it in other places and this did not disappoint. Sugar was our guide and he took good care of us. Probably skewed but our only objective was the glowing phytoplankton, so the jellyfish and starfish bit wore on a little long for us, but hey-- the appetizer isn't as important if the meal is great--and it was. This was the first time I put on a mask and looked underwater at bioluminescence, and it was INCREDIBLE!!! This is a must. If you get cold easily, suffer a little bit--its worth it. If you can't manage, don't be disappointed in anyone but yourself. This truly is something you must experience-- for those who didn't see anything, I'm guessing you didn't look very hard. Of note, it's unfortunate there is so much light pollution in the bay--we went to Mosquito Bay in Vieques and they don't allow any light around the Bay, and it is amazing. This could be better with less lights on in the bay, but that's not this tour operators problem, it's everyone's problem. Thanks!!

This tour was awesome! Swimming in the Bio Bay was something I will never forget. Make sure you go when there is little to no moon so it is as dark as possible! We went on a night where there was no moon. And you must get in and swim! Take a snorkel mask so you can get the full effect! Captain and deck mates were awesome and our kids had a blast! Only negative thing was it did say it was two hours long and we got back 20 mins early, however it was cooler out and not as many people swam in the bay so that could have been the reason it was cut short :) Overall would recommend but make sure you are going at the right time so you can see the glowing waters at their fullest!

If you “wish” to have a waste of time and money tour do it... I took the bioluminescent tour it was one hour instead of promised two. The tour started by a guy looking for starfishes for about 10 (waste of time) minutes, then small one were found... Than we continued to jellyfish area, where we stayed for another ten minutes, watching one small jellyfish...(didn’t get what’s the big deal). Finally arriving to bioluminescent part, that was the main reason why I took the tour! Surprisingly the bioluminescent bay was one big scam!! I couldn’t see no 1 light in the water... The tour guide tried to make us believe that the sea foam is the bioluminescent and lighting. He told us that if we will get in to the water then we’ll see the lightning... the water were could and I didn’t wanted to enter the water and get sick... So here I go disappointed, wishing to see the beautiful bioluminescent and instead I wasted 55 dollar for an hour of getting freezing and not even see anything! It’s was the most horrible experience of my life thanks to them and a big waste of my money! I just want my money back! And let all of you who even consider this experience with that company know...STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Nothing sweet gonna be come out from touring with them!

This is the worst tour I have ever taken in my life. The tour was one hour instead of promised two. The tour started by looking for starfishes, that were not found. Than we continued to jellyfish area, where we stayed for another ten minutes. And finally arrived to bioluminescent part, that was the main reason we took the tour to begin with. Don’t be fooled by this, this is not a bioluminescent bay! I’ve seen couple before and this is not it. The tour guide tried to make us believe that the sea foam is the bioluminescent. But that was nothing close to it. We wasted 55 dollar on an hour we did not see anything, and the whole experience was total waste of time. It’s a horrible experience for anybody looking for any kind of fun. Stay away!
