7 of us had a great time with Kelly and Captain Kevin during our staycation. Kelly was very accomodating to all of our needs, and Captain Kevin was very fun, and professional. I deffinately will use Kelly for our day trip on our next visit!

The concierge where we were staying recommended Kelly and organized this trip for us and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip (we went in Feb. 2019 but only just remembered that I never wrote a review!). We went with another couple and had a great time snorkeling with Kelly, especially since he got us a lobster to take back and have for dinner! He showed us conch island and had us try some raw, and overall organized a great day for us across both the land and water sights. We all had such a great time that we wouldn't hesitate to do it again, or even consider staying on Anegada next time we return. Thank you Kelly!

Kelly's land & sea tours has great customer service! I wish this was a review of the tour that I had booked with them a number of months ago. I was due to travel to Anegada this week and was looking forward this tour, and spending some time on the water exploring and snorkeling. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 virus outbreak that is affecting the world currently made it impossible for me the get to the BVI as planned. I contacted Kelly's and let them know that I had to cancel my booked tour. They were very understanding and gave me a full refund even though my scheduled tour was literally days away. They emphasized that health and safety was what was important at this time. Setting up the tour was easy via Kelly's Land & Sea Tours Facebook page. Communication was great and messages were answered promptly. Overall a great outfit to deal with.

We came over on a catamaran cruise to the islands and our stop at Anegada was tres cool - Horseshoe reef is right by Settling Point - like minutes away - and you get to check out a place that's absolutely naturally beautiful! we were able to soak it all in while feeling like high seas travelers! Don't miss it if you have the chance to visit!

My husband and I flew to Anaegada for a day and paid for a full day tour with Kelly. First, he took us to a place to eat even though we stated that we were not hungry. Then, we had to stop to get snorkel gear, which I thought would've been taken care of since we told him our sizes prior to the trip. Finally after about an hour of errands, we got out on the boat and he drove us to the reef. The reef was great and we saw a lot of coral, fish, and lobster. He brought up a conch and harvested the meat for us. He told us we could take the conch meat back to our resort and the cooks would make it for us. Then we headed to conch island and also saw flamingos from a distance. Some rain was moving in, so we headed back to land. This is where the day went south. We assumed since we paid for an all day tour, he'd find something else for us to do --or at least take us snorkeling to off shore spots because it wasn't lightning or thundering, it was just a steady drizzle. Instead, he dropped us off at a local restaurant and left and said he'd come back at 3. We were dropped off around noon, so we had to sit at the restaurant for 3 hours. It was kind of a miserable experience because we were wet from swimming and the wind was blowing through the outdoor restaurant. I bought a t-shirt at a gift shop within walking distance and that helped. When he finally came to pick us up, a woman was with him and their eyes were bright red. I don't have anything against marijuana use but I was just annoyed with being abandoned so that he could go hang out with buddies but still get paid for a full day of work. To top it all off, he didn't bring our conch meat and didn't mention it either. Had he offered a refund for half the day, we would've been much happier. Based on his other rave reviews, I'm not sure what we did to get this kind of treatment. The only thing I can think of is this - my husband and I are both very easy going people who never complain, and maybe he could tell that we wouldn't speak up and ask for a partial refund.

Response from kelswatersports, Public Relations Manager at Horseshoe Reef
Responded Aug 20, 2019
Sorry to read this happened to you, but from reading it. We can only say in response, that if Kelly is with a lady it’s with his wife. Also he wear shades all day, so there should not even be a chance to see his eyes unless you were on the boat and in an out of salt water. Also, we do not know exactly what date you came to refer to specifics. We do know that with your resort there hasn’t been issues that become in other words a habit. We can only assume who you are and which resort you came from. During a full day Kelly only leaves to go home for lunch if he is personally driving you 2 for a land tour. Him doing what he chooses during lunch break shouldn’t be an issue to any of the guest. Especially when he arrives on time to pick up and continue the land tour. To respond on the matter of the conch, it was left on ice instead of in the vehicle and arrangements were made to get it diced up for dinner at your resort, but due to timing of getting you to the airport he wasn’t able to double back for the conch or your flight would of been missed. To respond to the statement of dropping you off at a restaurant for lunch, that is part of the full day. Which is complimentary lunch. Guest usually get in for lunch about 12-1pm. In order to eat and be able spend a little time at the beach as well and digest your lunch. We decide to give guest an hour or so. Which we ask if it is ok with timing or you chose to leave right after lunch. Most guest decide to stay and enjoy the restaurant and before venturing off to continue the land tour and also visiting other beaches and locations. Also, to state that he left you in windy weather and wet is to us an overstatement. For the fact that from the time you get on land your partially dry. Also most guest walk with other land/dry clothes when on full day land and sea tour. Which they change in the bathroom at our main dock. Also if you were wet due to the drizzle you can’t blame Kelly for that. Find cover and be happy Mother Nature sent us rain for our dry land. But in all. We thank you for your visit and we can still refund half off your full day charge or give you a complimentary tour on your next visit to correct this matter for we do our best to work on excellence as you see with over 130 reviews. Email us or Call to book your trip. We recommend Sea Tour for you and your other half.
