The weather was perfect and captain Clinton and Johanna were wonderful hosts. My wife, our children and their spouses enjoyed the trip to Anegada and would definitely book another trip with Clinton and crew

Five friends and I chartered La Boheme for a full day out of Virgin Gorda and had a great time! Captain Clinton and his son Chris were great hosts and took us to Cooper Island where we had a fantastic snorkel with turtles, rays, barracuda, and a host of colorful fish followed by a great lunch at the Cooper Island Beach Club. They provided towels and snorkel gear along with snacks and beverages. We only had sodas and beer on our cruise so if you want something different, let them know ahead of time or bring it yourself. Our day at sea with La Boheme was definitely a highlight of our time in Virgin Gorda!

We had prearranged a sail AND snorkel trip for January 11, 2017.  We noticed a few days prior very few boats were on the channel, beaches were closed and red flags were flying.  We expressed our concern to Clint (the captain) and offered to reschedule or cancel but he scoffed at our concerns and reassured us that once we got past the breakers, everything would be great so we boarded the boat.  Upon leaving the harbor, Clint admitted he had a hard time pulling in and we would have to dock someplace else upon our return. Maybe this should have been a warning the seas weren't good for a sailing trip. When we reached Cooper's Island, half my group boarded the dingy to Cistern Rock where the waves were so dangerous, even Nick (son/first mate) advised us not to go in.  So we all waited for over an hour for the Cooper's Island Beach Club to open for lunch. During this time, we talked with a Cooper Island Dive Personnel who suggested we sail to the back side of the island where a reef would protect us.  Hopeful from this suggestion, we had a nice lunch but upon returning to the boat, Clint said he couldn't sail to the back side.  I then asked about our second stop - Dog Islands - and he said no way.  He then said in these conditions, there was no place we could go snorkeling which was what we had booked for.  We then set sail for a four hour trip in worsening conditions. Clint  admitted he cancelled his next day trip but kept telling us our trip was marginally ok. I'm not quite sure what he based that assessment on since we couldn't go snorkeling, we couldn't move about the boat and the promised hors d'oeuvres couldn't be served unless we wanted them right after lunch. We finally docked far from shore and were bobbing so much in the water that my main concern was getting my family ashore, especially one person who was getting very sick. So I paid and in two groups, we took the dingy through rough waters to shore. Not fun! Upon returning home, I wrote to Sarah (wife/office manager) explained our trip and requested a partial refund. I acknowledged Clint can't control the rough seas but felt he used poor judgement in taking us out and again stressed I only want a partial refund. Sarah wrote back the trip was fine and never answered a subsequent email. We finally disputed the charge but unfortunately, because we got on the boat (based on Clint's assurances) and paid at the end (I always pay my bills but maybe if we weren't bobbing in the water so terribly, I could have discussed payment at the time) we lost the dispute. Clint and Sarah were determined to keep every penny. I am prepared for the La Boheme to challenge my review but I've gotten such good information over the years from TA (and shared information as well) I feel compelled to share my experience - traveler to traveler. I am sure under ideal sailing conditions, the La Bohme is fine. But it's how you operate under less than ideal conditions that measure your character and level of service. In this instance, Clint, Sarah and the La Boheme fell far short.
