Just for the view

It's an okay hike, you're likely to see lizards and get an idea of the interior ecosystem of Gorda. Up top is a small lookout tower with views of most of the Virgin Islands.

My husband and I did the longer hike which took about 30 minutes. We didn't realize at the time that there was a shorter way. The hike isn't too difficult and the path is easy to follow. We didn't see any one else on the way there or back. I was expecting more than just a small lookout platform and... More

There are 2 ways of arriving @ the top. One way a 30 min. hike & the other 20. Two different parking spots. (shorter one on road} Not a very difficult hike. A few upwards rocks etc.Mostly in the shade.

Absolutely loved this hike, such incredible views. Trail isn't exactly maintained because it's impossible to do so, so you've just got to be careful and watch your step. It's very well signed so you can't exactly lose your way. Anyone in this area should definitely take a couple hours off and do this

We thought this would be a quick stop on our way to the next destination, but were happily surprised to spend half the day there.

We took the short trail about 800m from peak. The trail is very rocky but about 2/3 way up it gets better. There are several spots for picnic with tables. Peak was beautiful with a lovely cooling breeze. The longer route has a pull out off the road and a nice little glen to park and picnic in.

There's a couple ways up this thing but we took the shorter of the two paths on North Sound Road. The first 300 meters are rocky and steep, but most can make it up. When you get to the top you're treated to a 360 degree view from a 8 meter wooden structure, You really are at the highest point... More

Hike up the trail to Virgin Gorda's highest peak. Its Gorda Peak on Virgin Gorda. Being here is like becoming one with nature. We were told a lot about the history of Virgin Gorda by our very knowledgeable cab driver. The Views at the top are absolutely breath taking!!!! It makes me want to move to this tropical paradise!!!!!!!

Hubby and I went without our three teens. Good hike. Beautiful view. Good to get out and walk. We missed the turn at the top and ended up on the other side. Turned around and saw the sign for the top. A little extra walk was great. Saw the hermit crabs.

Great hike w a great view. Nice activity to do w family in the morning. It is 50 minutes each way. Pretty rough terrain; rather steep inclines at times. The view at the top is like none other. Gorgeous! Glad we went.
