This is the picturesque harbor at the west end of Tortola. We spent some time hanging out on our first and last day-waiting for the customs people to scrutinize our passports, despite having submitted photocopies ahead of our arrival by private water taxi. The shops were cute and varied in degree of overcharging. Pusser's was more expensive than the Ocean Pearl. We did not eat there, but the restaurant had a great view of the harbor.

We called in here as part of our tour from a cruise ship. Only stopped for a short while to sit and have a cold beer. Seemed a lovely spot to spend a Couple of hours here. Nice marina, was quiet when we were there. Was planning to have one of the painkiller cocktails, but decided on a cold beer

Off the beaten path. Loved all natives to this area. If you are looking for a place away from the tourist, capture a line in the marina. The slips are deep and right next to a full line of provisioning for boaters.

Water and electric are metered. An overnight stay was only $80 US. If you’re a hiker, any path you take is easily a 6% grade.

I would recommend this stop to any boater! It’s my second time to visit and noticeably damaged by the 2017 hurricane. The residents are doing all they can to rebuild, and I like supporting them.

Perfect place to pull in, have breakfast, stock up on provisions and do some shopping. We were here three years ago and it was suffering from the hurricane. It has been totally rebuilt. Looks fantastic. Go and support this cute harbor. Ate breakfast at Omar's coffee shop. Had a delicious smoothie, bowl, and my husband had lobster salad on a bagal and the bagel more of a roll. Homemade there and beyond melts in your mouth.

Here for a few hours only from a cruise liner. Had a very dodgy tour in an semi open truck which would fail even modest H & S concerns elsewhere. I know that these can be seen as part of the local culture but learning basic driving skills helps!
The slow service in the 'famous' Pussers bar denied me one of their signature cocktails.
An undeniably pretty place spoiled for us by a poor experience - others whi reviedw this place clearlky have had a much more enjoyable visit thsat oiut very brief time allowed for . Go and see for yourselves.

I bought a few souvenirs and some cute jewelry. We eat right on the dock and provision at Rite Way. Everyone is very friendly this is our 5th time back. We love to do an overnight the night before our charter sets sail.

Fantastic marina, so pretty and colourful! We are in the main restaurant, food & service both excellent! Breakfast in the little cafe next to the restaurant was lovely. Really clean showers and very helpful staff. We were there on a flotilla and we all agreed it was wonderful. Looked a bit like a Caribbean version of ‘Balamory’ .

I really just want to get the word out about a restaurant called Pisces to anyone who might be staying on the West End of Tortola or visiting Sopor's Hole ... It is not neccesarily a fish-restaurant, as the name might suggest, rather a wonderful menu mixed with West Indian and Creole dishes, burgers, sandwiches - and a breakfast which is rumored to be the best on the island! We did not take breakfast here, but if dinner was a representation of the quality and flavor of the overall food - then breakfast must be a true delight! The owner, Omar, is a positively delightful transplant from Dominica. He made us feel welcomed and embraced us like one of the regulars. Most come to Sopor's Hole to go to Pusser's (which has a great happy hour!), but Pisces is not to be overlooked. First of all, it is situated just a few doors down from Pussers, not on the marina side but across the street. The bright pink building has outdoor and indoor seating with a bar/TV. The ambiance is totally relaxed but linens and fun lighting lend a certain 'island chic' to the place. We had Creole Shrimp and Chicken Roti; both of which tasted great - not to mention, the complimentary dessert was a nice touch! One of the added bonuses, is that patrons can have access to the internet on a public computer for a few minutes; otherwise you can pay for the service. We ate at a lot of places while we were in Tortola, but this was undoubtedly our best and most fun meal. Even if you are staying in Long Bay, it is worth a journey over the hill for Pisces' fine island cuisine. As both a travel writer and lover of food, I highly recommend seeking this place out!

Well - pretty slow! Pussers store is gutted and the only place open was D Best Cup. Turned out to be a good stop as the breakfast/lunch we had there was great! We walked the dock down past Voyages and looked at sunken chunks of fiberglass and dock lines that look like they could be attached to boat ‘parts’. Voyages has rows of new boats lined up in the boat yard getting fitted so they will be back pretty soon. It’s unfortunate that Pussers store has not recovered as that’s one reason we usually go to Soper Hole.

We ate upstairs out in the open area -- the service was great and we loved the food. Great fish. They are still trying to repair everything from hurricanes -- watch you step on the dock -- but COME AND VISIT!!
