Alex was such an amazing tour guide as we paddled through the mangrove. This was really the cherry on top after our catamaran charter after island glamping for 5 fun-filled days. We highly recommend this excursion for everyone.

Was guided by Alex through the mangroves, saw turtles, jelly fish, baby shark, lots of little fish and more. Alex was very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife and ecology. The area was beautiful. If you are in doubt about going just go for it - a wonderful afternoon.

Really detailed and fun learning experience from nature and ecological standpoints. Photosynthesis in action. Learn how essential these mangrove estuaries are for the actual survival and growth of the islands. Identified a couple single celled plants and observed primitive jellyfish and other growths. Did not realize these plants and processes absorb huge amounts of carbon dioxide. IT IS ESSENTIAL that BVI gov’t wake up to the fact that with climate needs these mangrove growths must be put aside and preserved as national parks to insure their protection. Thankfully we have committed guides like Alex that convey information and help get the message out.

Alex was an amazing guide through the mangroves. He was patient and spent a lot of time talking about the mangroves and their importance in the health and ecology of the BVI. Terrific experience kayaking over the bay, reef, and through the mangroves. Alex is very knowledgeable. Great experience. Cool critters including hummingbirds and baby sharks. Highly recommended.

A fantastic morning trip in beautiful surroundings. We were a party of 5 and all really enjoyed it. It was fascinating to learn about the mangroves and to be able to experience them close up
