Sadly Irma took out this sanctuary. There is just a wreck of place. Dolphins were safely evacuated. Nearest one is in Bahamas

Best Way to Dolphin Discovery Tortola from Virgin Gorda (16 Replies)
7 of us want to go to Dolphin Discovery from Virgin Gorda. Which ferry would you recommend? And where on Virgin Gorda would we go to catch the ferry? Looks like we need to go into Roadtown when we get to Tortola, right? And what's the best way to get from the ferry terminal to Dolphin Discovery? Do they offer any transportation from the ferry terminal? Thanks to all!

This subject raises emotions to very high levels and people have very strong opinions on this - including me. Before you do this, I would urge you to do some research on the way they catch these wonderful, intelligent beings. Also, they are kept in fairly small, dirty enclosures so that tourists can come and have their picture taken with the dolphins. Please reconsider supporting this practice. If people do not support it, they will stop doing it.
