Excellent service from the start of our trip till the very end. Lisa E. was outstanding in getting us the right boat for our specific needs and budget. Boat was in excellent condition. I would highly recommend The Catamaran Company to anyone that is looking for outstanding service from booking to throughout the duration of the charter.

Four of us from the East Coast chartered four Lagoon Catamarans from the Catamaran Company in Feb 2020. We had a total of 36 crew on the four boats with three generations on one boat and two on another. We initiated our charter process about 10 months prior to Feb and all of us experienced good to excellent service with both the State-side office in Florida and the Tortola base office. The boats, 2-510's and 2-450's, where relatively new and in good shape with some significant unresolved issues. Being relatively new boats, they had feature that were outstanding for cruising with family and friends in the BVI waters.
The Catamaran Company, in contrast to other companies we have chartered with, manages only the chartering of the boat itself. The client is responsible for provisioning and extras like kayaks and snorkeling gear. The Catamaran Company does provide excellent information about where and how to do provisioning and obtaining water toys.

Wow! All I can say is the Catamaran Company is top rated for a reason. It’s the little things that make the trip. Fantastic pre communication. We got into Tortola late the first day. They kept the “lights” on Resposado II for us and even had a few surprises for us in the fridge. The boat was in great shape and the staff at Hodges Creek are knowledgeable and Courteous . The check in and out process was concise and fast. We ran into many other Charters couples over the course of the week using other companies and they were having all kinds of problems with things breaking or not provided. (E.g Non working engine on dingy, or no linens). We get that things happen from time to time but the real gripe from these people was the lack of response from the other charter companies. Not The Catamaran Company, They sent their chase boat out in the “winter winds” 37 knots immediately to fix a sheer pin on a propeller of a sister boat that was in the same Anchorage across the channel. It’s things like this that make a great charter company. As for the Resposado II. She has all the bells and whistles! 2019 great boat all around. The only thing I can not figure is she has electric winches everywhere, except at the dingy davit. This would be my only tiny gripe. Very minor and not really worth mentioning but hey, knowing them they might modify this. All in all I’m highly recommending them and will be using them again. Joe H

Chartered (without captain and crew) a 52 footer Lagoon for 5 nights. 9 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 kids. Great boat, very comfy, sails superbly and it was a bliss to cruise the BVI. In particular, i was amazed by the water maker (70 gallons an hour!). Overall great experience! A lot of space even for 13 people, lounge at the front, back, inside, great kitchen, loads of fridge and freezer space, etc.
I would really recommend this company to charter boats in the BVI - great service, boats and great prices

Fantastic time on a fantastic boat.
We have sailed the BVI forever but our recent trip was incredible.
The Lagoon 52 sailed great and had perfect spaces for our two families (3 mid-teens and 4 adults) and friends who were on the 42.
Cat Co were great from the beginning to the day our trip sadly had to end.
Can’t recommend them highly enough!

We booked a last minute trip through Lisa Eberle last month, and she was AMAZING! She found us a great charter even with all the Covid going on, and it was our best vacation to date! Her customer service was above and beyond, and she took it upon herself to personally check on us before, during, and after. We started in St. Thomas, sailed over to St. John, then Croix, and back to St. John to finish off our last evening. Our captain, Christian Alsop was amazing. He was always one step ahead, making sure our reservations were made, the places were open, and telling us all the details along the way. He was very knowledgable, and we will be booking again next summer. We can't wait to get back out there and on the water!

We arrived to Tortola and used the transportation that CatCo recommended. No one was there as promised so this was the first bump in the road. Our luggage was not on the flight so we had to leave without most of our gear. We arrived to Catco and had hired a captain and were supposed to board at Noon. We were told that our catamaran was broken by the previous charter several days before and it was being fixed. No one told us this!! No apology or nothing. I asked when it would be ready and she said they didn't know. Imagine my surprise when they are making a mistake and the person is rude to us about it. I said well surely we will be receiving a discount then as it is not available when promised and her response was I knew you were going to say that. That is your response? I tried my best to not lose my cool and to stay calm as we had been waiting on this trip since June of 2020 was rescheduled for March 2022. Our captain we are paying is now just sitting there as we are all just sitting and waiting to board. We finally board 4 hours late and she tells us that we got a good deal already and normally people can't board at noon and normally boarding at noon costs an extra thousand dollars. I mean I am thinking ok so then will you be refunding me that thousand dollars??? Apparently not. The airport had told us to not worry about our bag as most companies will just bring it out to you on their boat. Well no offer from CatCo to do that. We finally get going and then literally ALL night the bilge pump goes off every 5 minutes as there is a leak in the water tank. This bilge pump was under the master bedroom bed. Our captain was on board and he said there was nothing he could do about it. We ended up having to sleep in the other side of the catamaran the rest of the trip as it was so loud no one could sleep there. So here were are paying all this money and we can't even use the master bedroom. Then, our generator isn't working. So we paid for the wifi but can't use it as we don't have a generator. We can't get in contact with the airport to check on the bag because we don't have wifi. Our captain couldn't fix it. We have to drop him off and then take an hour taxi to pick up our luggage. A couple days later they send someone out to fix the generator but he cant fix the water leak. But now instead of sailing or enjoying our vacation we are having to moor somewhere and wait for the boat to be fixed. No apologies, no kind words, no offers to refund us money for a late and not working catamaran. NOTHING

We are very sorry your vacation from the start didn't go as you had hoped. We tried our best to accommodate you and your family.
The lady you say was rude to you even took you too the store, in her own car, so that you could get the missing provisions that didn't come in your order. She also located your luggage for you. The 1 day instructional captain said you seemed very stressed and were pre occupied with the children while he was showing you around the boat. The generator problem you incurred was after he had left the boat and was because someone had hit the emergency stop, and the start battery became low. We scheduled a time and place to do a chase call that was convenient for you and when we got there you were not there. We couldn't get ahold of you by phone or email. When you called back the next day we made another chase call appointment, got there and we fixed the generator issue. You told our tech that the bilge stopped running half way through the night. We heard nothing from you for the rest of the trip.
When the boat was returned it had a broken boat hook, the master shower door was broken off it's hinges and on the floor, the outboard and propeller had hit rocks and an AC vent was damaged.
We wish you well on your next sailing trip to the BVI.

We sailed on a Lagoon 42 with the WORST CAPTAIN!
When we paid for our "Captain" food & beverages in advance and had our food delivered to the boat. It was just my spouse and myself for a week + captain. We requested that the captain allow us to sail the boat and hoist the sails - be part of the experience but not responsible for for sailing 24/7. We also requested secluded beaches and off the beaten path sights. All was agreed.
So we thought...
The captain showed up at the boat with a loaf of bread, bologna, 2 avocados, dozen eggs and NO DRINKS. We cooked and fed the captain for the week from our stores and also had to provide him drinks even though we had paid this in advance! We also did not dock anywhere that a relative did not own a business (restaurant, store or shoppe). The captain also would not let us touch the sail lines or hoist them; we were only allowed at the helm while underway.
The was our15th Wedding Anniversary trip we needed the break and we were exhausted from working. We made the call half way through our charter to Catamaran Company and let them know about the issues. Immediately CatCo called our captain and after the call he was very confrontational towards us. It was a miserable rest of the charter!! We could not wait to get off and leave. What was supposed to be a beautiful vacation in the Caribbean was a nightmare. We had bought the captain a BCD while on charter hoping to change his attitude (he dropped off to his bother) and it did not. the captain would also leave us in the evening while moored and take the dingy to see "family"! We were stuck and could not go anywhere until he arrived back.
It has taken us a long time to post this review as we have lost a parent to a long battle with cancer after taking care of them in agony and battling thyroid cancer myself. We have also tried to resolve this with CatCo as they were aware of our request and called the captain during the charter about our concerns. Catamaran Company is unconcerned about how we were treated and have made it clear they are unwilling to do anything to make right our horrible experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry that you had a negative experience during your charter in April 2019. We also want to express our heartfelt condolences for your loss. We have also lost a loved one due to cancer, and very much empathize with you.
At the Catamaran Company, we take all complaints seriously and are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of service. We appreciate that you brought your concerns to our attention during your charter in April 2019, and we did our best to address them at the time. We also corresponded with you after your charter to discuss your concerns, and we continue to be available to correspond with you today.
Please note that the captains we use are independent contractors, which is common practice for most charter companies in the BVI. We only hire professional, licensed captains who have a good standing not only with us but also with other companies and clients. While most guests enjoy the opportunity to experience the local community, cuisine, and lifestyle, we understand that sometimes there may be a mismatch in personalities or variations in cultural practices that can affect the charter experience. Unfortunately, this is something that is beyond our control.
We apologize if our responses about what we can do for you have not been satisfactory. Please know that we are always open to discussing your concerns and exploring any options that may be available to us.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We hope that we can still be of service to you in the future.

Huge Help Despite COVID - Found us a great charter
We have booked our charters with Lisa Eberle at CatCo for over 8 years now and she has always worked magic to get us what we want and accommodate our schedule . Lisa went above and beyond this year. 1st we had a trip booked in mid June to St. Martin on a Bali 5.4. Alas international travel seemed to be a bit risky so she worked diligently to move that charter to next year.
Now we were left without a sailing trip this year, something as we grow older that is not acceptable. So we called Lisa and she found us a great yacht as a tremendous price for the end of July in the USVI.
She is the best, she is sweet to work with and is genuinely interested in making it a great vacation. Any of you who are new to charting, she is the one you want to help you out.
So reach out, you won't be sorry
Thanks a Million Lisa!

The Lagoon 45 Catamaran was almost new. When you are inside the water and look at the Catamaran, you will feel like a millionaire. It was well stocked. For a week we were taken from Tortola, then Cooper Island, The Baths at Virgin Gorda, Spanish Town, Anegada, Virgin Gorda Silver Rock, Bitter End, Sandy Spit, Jost Van Dyke White Bay Soggy Dollar Bar and Norman Island. Sometimes two beaches or spots in a day. So cool to be in beaches completed empty just for you and have dinner in restaurants in which the only way to arrive is by boat. Our Captain was Ron which made the week more special. Very nice talking and friendly guy. We told the places we were interested to go and he made the schedule according to weather. Ron is also a really good photographer and took beautiful pictures from the group. The schedule is important because is good to go to far places like Anegada when there’s enough wind to go sailing, this saves gas plus the sailing experience is a must. Let the Captain make those decisions. This is way better than a cruise. We took frozen cooked meats from Puerto Rico without any problem to eat half of the days in the boat. Meats are expensive at the Islands. All breakfast and lunches we did in the boat with good food ordered and taken to the boat from a Tortola supermarket. The lobster place in Anegada is a most, plus it was Saturday with music and dancing all over the place. Only take in consideration that the toilets in these boats are not for wide people and I weight 165 pds. This is the only design point I would change in that boat. Don’t miss this outstanding experience.
