Sailing Virgins is an amazing company to learn with! We learned SOOOO much about sailing a catamaran AND had a wonderful fun time doing so. I have taken previous classes with them and the instructors are always fantastic. Super easy-going yet knowledgeable and make learning a lot of fun. Everything was well planned, the boats were great and the vibe even better! Will certainly continue sailing with them! I originally traveled on my own and felt super safe and cared for. Highly recommend Sailing Virgins if you are a solo traveler - male or female. You will make wonderful friends!

We just came back from a great week sailing on a catamaran with Sailing Virgins in the BVIs and are already trying to figure out the next time we can get out on a sailboat! My husband and I, along with another couple, were instructed for the week by our skipper Oran. Oran immediately took the time to figure out what our goals were for the week and not just teach to the ASA exams. Once he realized we have young children and want to be able to cruise with our families, he made it his priority to make us confident and aware of all the safety concerns for families on a boat. The four of us had different level of experiences heading into our trip, yet all of us gained an enormous amount of knowledge over the course of our time on the boat. Oran balances being incredibly high energy with also tailoring the instruction to each student's ability and personality. It was incredibly difficult to say goodbye at the end of the week, but we left knowing it was just a "see you soon"!

We did the Catamaran sailing course + a few other add-ons (114, 105, 106) and had an absolute blast! Our skipper/coach name was Oran (aka Dryspell), if you have a chance you should request him, he’s a lot of fun and extremely knowledgeable. We had a mixed experience (novice & advanced) group of sailors and Oran was able to customize our week to make sure everyone learned a ton and also had a great time. The BVI’s are incredible. Highly recommend.

It was an all-round amazing trip. I completed my ASA 103/104 during the week. Tony and Ryan were very knowledgeable and also a lot of fun to be with for a week on a boat! More than just the book knowledge and sailing experience, they shared practical knowledge from their own experiences. I would definitely do a trip or course with SV again! I now want to get my ASA 106 and someday a crossing!

We LOVED our class! My wife and I did an intermediate sailing course and both got our ASA 101 and 103 certificates and I got my ASA 104, all in a week. James really came through, making this class happen even when there was a problem getting a boat at their usual location. Even though I’ve been sailing my whole life, I still learned a lot. Kirill and Adam were fantastic teachers. Highly recommended.
