You can't go wrong with a dip in these waters. It's not the best snorkelling I've seen but it was good. It's fun to swim into the caves to have a look around.

We were on a Norwegian cruise in eastern Caribbean. One of the stops was at Tortola. We took a catamaran excursion and had a great experience. Snorkeling off of Norman Island was excellent and calm. Stop at Pirate Bight was great. Nice clean beach and bar. Could not believe such a nice place was basically in the middle of nowhere.... More

Great mooring in the Bight, well protected with lots of mooring balls. Good snorkeling in the cavesjust a short dingy ride to the south and close to the Indians for more snorkeling. Good food at Pirates Bight restaurant and your night is not complete without Willy T's floating night club where anything goes as the night gets later.

Pirate Bight was an exceptional pleasant experience. It is a big change and good improvement from the original shack of the past. We relaxed by the new section. This addition hosts another restaurant and bar. This area rents very comfortable lounge chairs, towels. For $30.00 you get these and shower facilities to rinse of sand and salt water. The service... We spent our first night here while chartering a sailboat in the BVI. Poplar place with cruisers. There are two resurants, on crazy ship bar (willy t's), lots of mooring balls, and great snorkeling at the caves nearby. Also the Indian are very close for a day trip to snorkel also. This is a must stop on a BVI scaling... More

Came to Norman Island on a boat trip to a place called the Aquarium. The snorkeling there was great. The water wasn't rough, and was very swim-able. We saw lots of different types of fish of different colors and sizes. I don't think anyone saw any rays or turtles but crew said that they are around. There were lots of... More

Excellent Bushwacker served in a big beach bucket (souvenir). Service was excellent, the beach beautiful with blue crystal waters. Definitely the best beaches are in the caribbean.

This picture doesn't do justice to the colour of the water. We had the beach to ourselves when we were there. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful.
