Thank you to Pieter and Mirian for having taken such good care of us. It was a beautiful evening and nice to chill aboard the Passaat 1911 schooner boat. We were 10 guests in total and had ample space to chat while enjoying a very mellow cruise.

Thoroughly enjoyed this sunset sail aboard this vintage 1911 schooner. One must get onto the water in St. Maarten to experience this island fully. The two Captains were gracious friendly and professional. Safety was a high concern. The snacks were yummy - simple yet delicious. We were chased by some rain squalls - which eventually caught up to us -... More

First of all, this is not a party boat. So don't expect music and disco lights as on the Tango from aquamania adventures.... this is a completely different experience, and one you should really try! My husband, my mom, our 2 children ages 3 and 5 and I all enjoyed this experience. It's quite an adventure, keep that in mind... More

Our 6th time on the Passaat and the "voyage" never fails to amaze my wife and I. We take the sunset cruise each time. Drinks and finger foods are good, but under sail with no noise and looking at the land and going by anchored yachts and the sunset is why we go time and again. It is soooooo peaceful!... More

Have just returned from the beautiful island of SXM and had a wonderful evening in the company of nice people and we were looked after so well despite Peters injured arm by he and his lovely wife Miriam. As the title says although God didn't grant us with the best sunset the evening cruise on the Passat schooner was beautiful... More

My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful sunset sail on a schooner. Being under sail, instead of power, we were able to enjoy the company and conversation of the other guests. Pieter and Mirian provided an excellent meal. Appetizers and drinks were served during the evening. They were very gracious hosts, making sure everyone had a pleasurable experience. We highly... My wife and I had an amazing time aboard this schooner. We started out with a quiet and peaceful sail along the coast of St. Maarten from Simpson Bay to the boarder with the French side and then back. After returning we were treated to a mani-mahi dish cooked perfectly along with some very fresh vegetables and a choice of... More

Pieter & Mirian were excellent hosts for our whole group of 12 people. They provided rum punch, beer and wine, soft drinks and and wonderful bread and cheese and we all enjoyed a very special sunset off of Simpson Bay.

Spent a wonderful evening aboard a beautifully maintained 105 year old schooner under full sail, watching a Caribbean sunset and the full moon arising. Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and gracious. My husband and I cannot think of a better or more relaxing way to spend our 45th wedding anniversary; being in Sint Maarten aboard a beautiful schooner... More

My wife and I had a wonderful evening aboard the schooner and the captain/crew were very professional and accommodating. The meal was fantastic and they had an open bar. It was much more personal and intimate than the many "commercial" catamaran rides out there that have 65-70 guests. We had about 15-20 people on board and it is a large... More
