What a great day! We have done jet ski excursions from a cruise ship before and had fun doing laps around the bay, but this was so much more. Our guide was extremely helpful for those who were new to the sport, but let me hit the waves and do some rocking and rolling. It was so much fun. If we ever make it back to St Maarten again I know where I am going!

I've been wanting to do something like this for a few years and was always hesistant to spend the money. This time we did it and LOVED it. 2 and 1/2 hour tour on a jet ski, around the mega yachts, under the bridges and out into the open water with big waves. We saw many beaches and beautiful homes. Hubby and I said it was the best thing we have done in a long time. Family owned operation, Tony (dad) and Perry (son) were genuinely interested is us having a first rate experience. We had a guide that was very easy going, named Martin. We lucked out and it was just the two of us and Martin. We stopped over by the airport and took a break watching the planes come and go. The water was as blue as you can imagine despite the depth. It was an amzaing experience. We had opportunities to go very fast in the open water, jumping waves and getting VERY wet. I'm sure if that wasn't your style they would slow it down for you, but if you are a bit of a daredevil you will not be disappointed. Wear sunglasses with a band to hold them on your head, you bounce around a bit but I feel that you really need your sun glasses to keep the water and sun out. If I was to do it again, I would also bring a small handtowel in a baggie so when you take a break you can get some of the saltwater or sunscreen out of your eyes. You have a little compartment you can put things like a small towel or car keys in. Use lots of sunscreen. We will remember this forever. It was nice to see my husband grinning ear to ear as he rode the jet ski. Ladies, if you can, get your own rather than be on the back. I ride my own. Don't be afraid. The throttle is your friend. Aim, hit the throttle and throw caution into the wind. Watch your water intake, you don't want a full bladder out on the open ocean. There is a bathroom at the dock. Call Perry or Tony, book a trip, laugh a lot. We can't wait to do it again next year. I think I would want to have a waterproof camera to get some shots of the airplanes. My smile muscles hurt. Hope yours do, too.

We booked this directly. $189 for one jet ski for one or two people. We were met right by the ship and escorted to a van for about a 30 minute ride to Phillipsburg. You can take a backpack, or bag, and leave it in the office whilst you using the jets. There is a small compartment on the ski to hold a towel, money, waterproof camera etc. Bring a change of clothes because you will get very wet. Our guide took us out through the lagoon past some very expensive yachts and out into the ocean, north into the bay of the French capital, Marigot. The ocean waves can be very rough, but we had great fun jumping the ski and getting soaked. On down to the bay in front of Queen Julianna airport to see the famous place where the planes land almost on the beach. Then back to the dock. Depending on your level of experience on a jets, the guide lets you go as fast as you want, particularly on the flat water sections. I wish I had brought some light gloves, like cycling gloves, to make the handles a little less rough. Make sure you bring lots of sunscreen and sunglasses with croakies. Great fun. Highly recommended. Skis were in good shape. Guide was very pleasant.

We had never been on a JetSki before and this looked like the perfect pace to try it out. Add in the adventure aspect of traveling out of the harbor, out in the ocean, a stop at Sunset Beach to watch the airplanes, and it was the trip I most looked forward to. We had no problem getting to the location and were pleased to find out we would get a free ride after the tour to the location of our choice. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. There was one tour guide for two couples riding double and a single. Only the single had ever been on a JetSki before. Instruction was a little simple: how to start, stop, and steer. We were then pushed off the dock into the water. As we motored across the bay the guide checked on us frequently but kept up a good pace. We had no speedometer, but I would estimate 25-30 knots. I was struggling a little and when we stopped the second time the guide had some advice for me. He was spot on and it made a huge difference for me. My wife was not comfortable with the whole thing and more scared than I realized. It was a little choppy in the harbor, but when we exited to the ocean we faced 3 foot rollers. My wife was uncomfortable with the speed required to transit our route without getting beat up by the waves. The guide took notice and after a short while insisted she ride with him. He had a bigger craft and was also a much better operator. This also caused him to slow down. it turned out the other couple was happy he slowed, especially the wife who was the passenger. We sat for about 20 minutes beneath the approach path to the airport and he showed us some caves as we watched the airplanes. As we made our way back to the harbor we stopped and watched our guide assist a disabled parasail boat. I enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it to anyone looking for a little adventure and challenge. I would not bring my wife next time, nor would she go. The other wife also indicated hanging on for two hours was not all she expected it to be. Running in the ocean we were constantly being soaked by waves we broke through. As a driver you can see what is coming and you have some control. And we had a relatively calm day. While the instruction may have been lacking the action of the guide to recognize my wife's fear and take action goes above and beyond. He was totally supportive the entire time. A truly professional operation I highly recommend.

Took our family of 6 on a private jet ski tour. Had a GREAT day!

Took $15 per-person water taxi from cruise ship Captain Hodge's Pier. Short walk from pier to check-in spot on the beach.

Our guide (Innoc) did a great job leading us around on a 2.5+ hour tour.

He let us go at our pace (fast) and was a great tour guide of the area.

Lots of opportunities to stop and swim if you'd like to.

Waverunners were in good shape and handled well in the open ocean waters.

Had place on beach to lock up bags while we were on the water. Check-in spot was also very close distance to a clean public restroom where you can change if you need to.

Would definitely do this tour again!

Desmond was our driver, and even though we were late getting of the ship he had waited for us. The traffic sucked as it was super busy, but Desmond got us to the dock in great time. All the staff were awesome and we had a super great time. would have been nicer if we had seen a plane come into Moho beach while were there, but I got a lot of great pictures of the houses around the island. Our tour guide was great and when we had to stop and trade drivers (as I got a face full of sea water and couldn't see, he came back to us to make sure we were ok) Any questions we had he was quick to answer and made the trip a lot of fun. Would go to them again if we go back

This is an unsolicited review. LOVED IT! Our tour guide/lead ski driver, Orlando made our day. We aren't young and jet skiing was something we really wanted to try. Perry (the owner) is great. Put us at ease right away. The location has a place to change, restrooms, a restaurant/bar, everything you could want. Yes, take a towel, sunscreen and a camera. Maybe jet ski gloves if you want to keep from developing a blister at the base of the thumb. Also, some type of eye covering helps keep the saltwater out the eyes. Orlando couldn't have been more patient with us. Getting on a jet ski for the first time was a little intimidating. But, once comfortable after driving around near the jet ski entry point, it was open the throttle and have a blast. We had the opportunity in one of the bays to really open the throttle. During the tour, another group of jet skiers passed us (from another site). That group just drove helter-skelter and ran full throttle. Orlando kept us in a straight line and made sure safety was paramount. I preferred our method. We made many stops including Maho Beach where we watched planes coming in to St. Maarten airport. Going to St. Maarten? Go see Perry at St. Maarten Jet Ski Tours.

I booked this tour after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor.

The owner, Perry was very quick to respond and provide directions as to where to meet our driver, Desmond aka Super D.

When our ship arrived in port, Desmond was exactly where he was suppose to be and drove us to Simpson Bay where the company kept their Jet Skis. When we go to the docks we met our guide for the day, Sam.

Sam was a very capable rider, and kept a close eye on us to make sure we weren't having any problems. After a little bit he had my significant other get on his jet ski since it was larger and more powerful. After that everything was much smoother.

We went over to the french side of the island, and went past Maho Bay when a Caribbean Air plane was landing, which was really cool. You can see things from the water, that you won't get to in a taxi or tour bus.

The water was really choppy that day, so I did get airborne several times.......intentionally!

Overall, a great tour and well worth the cost.

I would recommend a waterproof camera, and have a small waterproof dive bag to store your valuables in the Jet Ski.

Definitely be prepared to get wet, and since you are on the ocean you will experience waves. If you are prone to sea sickness, this is not the tour for you.

We recently visited St. Maarten with a group of about 80 people and we wanted to do a group outing together. We contacted St. Maarten Jet Ski Tours based on the reviews and decided that this could be a great outing. With a large group that have different interests and activity levels, we knew we had a tall order, and St. Maarten Jet Ski Tours delivered. Perry and his team did an amazing job organizing the activities, and we spent the day going out on the jet skis and island boat tours. Let's just say that it was nearly universal that among our island hopping for a week everyone considered this by far the most memorable event of the overall amazing trip. It was *incredible* and now my kids continually ask me about buying jet skis because of the fantastic trip we had here. Kudos to the team for a great event and if you were ever uncertain about going here, there is no reason to hesitate. This place rocks!
