We have been visiting St. Maarten for close to 12 years and the zoo was never to be missed upon each visit. From the rock throwing monkeys (yes, they did!) to the wandering peacocks, it was always a pleasure to be there. Although the zoo...More

Friendly staff and inhabitants! Animals and birds are well cared for and it heartwarming to know that your money is spent to keep these animals and birds living with great care until there time comes. Worth the visit!!

Upon arrival the manager came right out to greet us. He was very kind and informative. Its not a huge zoo, but a good way to spend some time off the resort. You can feed the animals by hand here, but there aren't many. The...More

There is something very hopeful and worthwhile happening here. A lot of people would label it “organic.” If you come here you will see that this is a hybrid attraction – a play space, a petting zoo, and a sanctuary for indigenous species of animals....More

A gem in the rough. This little animal park is not your average zoo and I liked it better when the manager described it to us as zoo meets animal park with lots of iguanas. Yes there is need for upgrades and repairs but where...More

This is not your zoo in the States. If you are looking for large bells and whistles, this is not the zoo for you. This is a local, smaller zoo, that gives you a taste of the local wildlife on St. Maarten. We went on...More

As they say on St Maarten, relax man and chill. A couple of hours should be sufficient, the restaurant does great food at a sensible price. The children will love holding the lots and lots of Guinea Pigs!
