We've been to this beach twice now on two cruise stops and it's a great beach! We love the boardwalk right there and you can get chairs/umbrella/bucket of beer for cheap! It's a great way to relax before heading back to ship!

Beautiful view and very touristy. Chairs are readily available for rent and restaurants just a short walk across the board walk.

We stayed at the Sonesta Great Bay. The beach is tranquil, especially compared to other beaches on the island.

yes that is an issue, the locals here just as in many other Caribbean destinations use wherever they are standing as an area to toss their trash. My family and I have skipped going to these islands this year because we... More

Yes, I have not seen anything priced in other than American dollars as so many of the tourists are Americans off of cruise ships.

You can actually take a water taxi or walk beachside. Also, a saunter down Front St. perusing the multitude of shops is an option as well. Options, freedom of choice. It doesn't get much better than that.
