Such a great guide and a friendly guy. He picked us up at our condo and quickly brought us to our first fishing spot looking to catch some Snook. Although we did not catch any Snook the location was awesome. The next stop would target Tarpon it was very exciting my wife hooked one on her first cast. A couple cast later she had another Tarpon on. Great trip great guide.

I was looking for a fishing excursion that would be more family-friendly than a deep sea fishing trip. Richard did not disappoint. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient (my son was tangling lines or getting lures caught in rocks seemingly every five minutes), I found Richard to be the consummate fishing guide. Never having fished for tarpon before, I didn't fully realize how tough these fish are to land. In our 4 hour evening trip, we explored three different spots on the island, with all but one producing action. Richard definitely put us on the fish, especially the last spot which was teeming with tarpon. It reminded me of a run of salmon in a river back home. I'm hoping to have Tyt Lynz be a traditional part of our yearly trips to St Maarten.

I found Richard at Tye Lynz Guide Services via Trip Advisor. Once I got to St. Maarten, I gave him a call and he picked me up at my hotel one evening to chase after Tarpon and Snook. I was very surprised to find that very few people fish for Tarpon or Snook in St. Maarten or do any inshore fishing at all. We had the places we went all to ourselves. Richard really knows his stuff and I was to find out that Tarpon are very plentiful! With their bony mouth and leaping ability, however, keeping them on after you hook them is another matter! Richard is a great guy and I highly recommend him. I enjoyed spending the evening with him and had a lot of fun. When I come back to St. Maarten, he will be sure to get a call from me again.

Had a great time! Rich picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at a local food spot. No complaints from me and I am a guide back home....
