We booked taxis for all of our journeys across the island. They were very communicative over email, were always exactly on time and were cheaper than firms through hotels etc.
All our drivers were really nice and told us about the country as we travelled through, and knew back routes to avoid traffic (we got to the airport 15 mins faster than Google Maps said!)
Highly recommend.

I have used this company for many years since 2015 and in some cases more than once in a year. I use them for airport transfers as I find them reliable, punctual and safe. The booking process is very easy and the prices are great - looking back at our email threads I smile because they are professional yet friendly and they remember their customers! Nothing is too much and they are very flexible.

Amazing climb with some extraordinary views and challenging rope climbs to the top. The first 2/3 was a tough hike with some light rock scrambles leading straight up the mountain. The last 1/3 turns into a rock climb with some challenging sections on ropes were basic climbing skills are needed. Our guide Ashley was fantastic, and we would not have made it to the top and down safely without him. The tour was a little pricey but pickup and drop-off was also provided (2 hr drive one way) making the one of a kind experience well worth it. Ask for Ashley for your tour guide if you plan this adventure he is very skilled and knowledgeable.

I don't recommend this company or one of their drivers named Greg!! Honestly, every driver and tour company in St. Lucia I've come to learn like most other Caribbean countries are only out for your $$. Here's what I learned, book everything online through the company and do it before you get out there and stick with that schedule!! DO NOT under any circumstances book ANYTHING with the driver directly. That's their game, they want you to give them your phone # on whatsapp and then then they want you to book directly with them outside of the company so they can charge you whatever they want, and they get 100% of the $$. One of the drivers Greg and i'm sure they all do it, but double dipped with me and got screwed doing it because he couldn't get back in time for another customer to take them to the airport and had to call other drivers. Then charged me $200 USD when he should have only charged me $120 at most for going from the north to the south. I know because I did the trip 2 more times at $120 USD. BEWARE of these companies and their drivers!! I do plan on going back to St Lucia but I'll be very selective on the company I use, I will not deal with any of the drivers directly. Sad we live in a world where everything evolves around $$ and you can't go on vacation without dealing with such greed..

Having done a bit of research on Airport Transfer companies we opted to use islander.com and we were so so pleased that we did. Kimmy organised both transfers for us in a very professional manner and both the drivers were on time, informative throughout our journey about the beautiful island of St Lucia and they both drove very safely - (sorry I have forgot the drivers names). The vehicles used for the transfers were luxurious. The prices were very very competitive. Do not hesitate to use islander.com for your Airport Transfers. We would definitely use islander.com again when we return to St. Lucia. Thank you Kimmy (you are an absolute star)!!

We used this company for our airport transfers from UVF to our resort 1.5 hours away on the North side of the island. The communication was excellent and we were not charged until our driver dropped us off at our destination each way. The process for pickup at the airport is extremely easy- they send you a QR code that you scan at their desk in the front of the airport. This triggers your driver to come pick you up from the parking lot. We landed and were at our resort within 2 hours! On the way back to the airport, there was a ton of traffic near Castries. Our driver navigated a couple of detours and got us to the airport safely with plenty of time to spare. I would recommend giving yourself at least 4 hours from transfer departure to flight departure if staying on the north side of the island. Our driver Maili was great! He provided recommendations for things to do and was an excellent and safe driver. Would highly recommend!

Real St. Lucia Tours is definitely the real deal. We can't say enough good things about our experience with them.
We booked a cruise that stopped in St. Lucia and wanted more than a typical generic cruise ship excursion. After much research we booked a private tour with Real St. Lucia Tours and could not have been more pleased.
Communication prior to our arrival was prompt and informative and all of our many questions were answered patiently.
Our guide for the day was Leroy and he became like our trusted friend on the island. He knew everybody in St. Lucia and was an encyclopedia of knowledge about the island in addition to being fun and easy to talk to.
Leroy tailored our day so that, even with our tight schedule, we got to see quite a bit. We took a scenic drive along the coast seeing the colorful towns of Canaries and Anse La Ray as well as famous Marigot Bay. Along the way we stopped to watch locals making cassava products and visited an upscale shop marketing island grown chocolate products.
Among the highlights was hiking the Tet Paul Nature Trail ($10pp) which took about 45 minutes. You're given a trail guide (we had Meshach(sp?) who was very informative and hilariously funny as well. The terrain is rocky and uphill so make sure you're reasonably fit for this activity. The view of the iconic Pitons from the top of the trail is breathtaking.
We visited the "drive in volcano" and had the opportunity to swim in the volcanic mud baths. It seemed like a popular activity and my wife enjoyed it while I observed. There is a nominal fee for this. You will get very muddy and smelly but people were lined up to do it. There are showers to rinse off when you're done but many preferred to wait until they arrived at a nearby waterfall to wash off.
Summing up, we had a fantastic day seeing St. Lucia with Leroy and would not hesitate to book with Real St. Lucia Tours again. They gave us memories to last a lifetime.

From the very first email to get a quote for airport transportation to and from the resort this company exhibited excellent customer service. I had to change the number of travelers a few times due and the staff promptly accommodated my requests. Not once did I feel like I was a bother even with the changes. I ended up having the same driver for the transfer from the airport to the resort and back to the airport for departure. Malei was personable, provided some suggestions on things to do and foods and drinks to try. If I'm ever in St. Lucia again I will definitely use this company again to book my transportation as well as recommend this company to others that will be visiting the island.

My family and I recently returned from a Caribbean cruise. One of the islands we were excited to visit was Saint Lucia. For an excursion, we chose not to go with one offered by the cruise line, and instead hired a private driver. After researching companies, we chose to book with Real Saint Lucia Tours, and we couldn’t be happier. From start to finish, Kimmy and others from the company were highly responsive.
Upon arrival at the port, our driver, Issac, was waiting for us at the determined time and location. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. We were able to customize the tour so we chose to visit a chocolate store, Sulphur Springs and mud baths (volcano tour), Diamond Waterfall, and Hummingbird Beach in Soufriere. Isaac arranged a take-out lunch for us at a local restaurant, and we enjoyed the best creole meal at the beach. It was evident that Isaac knew how to give us a memorable visit to his beautiful island. We had such a fantastic experience, and I would not hesitate to book with them again.

Islander airport transfer - the booked and paid for transfer was supposed to be in a fully air conditioned vehicle with complimentary water on arrival. We were picked up by a shabby and uncomfortable mini bus .. No air conditioning. No water. Driver sopped at a roadside shack after 15 minute drive for us to rest ?? he then bought us a drink. He drove badly on awful roads, overtaking on blind spots. The journey was horrendous. We arrived and still tipped the driver and headed to check in. The driver reappeared stating his boss said we needed to pay. He was told we had paid, he asked me to pay and get a refund. I refused and showed him my receipt and he finally left. The bellboy said if I hadn’t had the receipt I wouldn’t have had a leg to stand on.

What kind of transportation is used for these tours? We are looking to sign up for the private tour for 20 people. Would we get split into a bunch of small cars?

The different tour companies use different types of Van's or mini buses. If you want something specific like an open air military vehicle or jeeps you have to look for that specifically.

The snorkeling equipment was provided on the tour. The shipwreck portion of snorkeling had a ton of pretty and different fish. The sea turtle area had very few fish. We did not stop at a beach as we picked up the catamaran in town.

It was US$75 for the 2 of us... If you read carefully at the Island Expo email, you will see that like all other tours on the island lunch and entrance fees are NOT included.
You get to stay at least an hour and a half at the beach. And your meeting time would be at 8:30am.

We were charged $50 USD per person, six people. They also would have done the $50 for 4 people, but we added two more just before heading out. Well worth it for an all day personalized tour.

I suggest you contact Sava before your trip, and he'll pick you up at an agreed upon place. He'll give you a price, depending on what you would like to do. If you can share, so much better. Here from my review:
We really enjoyed our day-trip by water-taxi with Sava (Shashamané - Sarah’s tip) down to Soufriere and the Pitons He would stop at every beach on the way down, explain the history of each area and let us take a swim or snorkel where we felt like it. We will need to be picked up at the Hewanorra airport on The afternoon of February 1st and brought back to the airport on The morning of February 28th. Would you be able to provide that service? If yes, what is the cost?
