This was one of the treasured highlights and best moments of our anniversary vacation to St. Lucia! I am so glad we chose to book a half day sail with James and Obe. Worth every single penny...They were so professional and kind with great communication throughout our initial contact to our gorgeous sail down the coast of St. Lucia. James was great at working with me to create a personal trip for us. My husband more than once looked over at me and thanked me for arranging the trip...we didn’t want it to end. Comfortable seating, best Rum Punches we had anywhere, tasty snacks , authentic sailing on the beautiful waters (no motors!) with this restored sloop...the Carribbean Sea and a taste of the more exciting Atlantic.. I could go more and get used to that feeling...a snorkel in a secluded cove... and then arriving in Marigot Bay as the sun was beginning to set..just incredibly special. If you are thinking about a trip with Jus Sail...then Just do it... you will treasure the memory.

My family and I took the Jus Sail half day trip on our first vacation to St. Lucia, and it was the highlight of our whole week! We loved it so much that we came back the next year! We did the charter with the lunch stop, snorkeling, and the sunset ending. Everything was fabulous. James and Obi were such wonderful hosts; they provided everything we needed and could even think to ask for! They made us feel at home on the boat and regaled us with all the tales of life in St. Lucia. It was so cool to be on the old school sailing boat and see how everything worked. Not to mention the fabulous rum punch that was served! The sailing trip with Jus Sail is seriously the best thing you can do while you are visiting the island!!! A must for every traveler and a great bonding activity for families to just sit back and relax while they take care of you!

So I'm writing this on the year anniversary of our trip (4/17/19) - sorry it took me this long Captain Jim! I was part of a group of 5 friends and we did a full day private charter, which was pretty reasonable between all of us and included the sail, food and beverage and lunch at a restaurant. Everything about the day was great and well thought out. Loved the rum punches and the healthy snacks on the way down south. We stopped south of Marigot Bay for some snorkeling (some of us) and some floating around on noodles (me). Then to Marigot Bay for a lovely indian lunch at Masala. Jim takes care of it all so you just get to enjoy it unless you want to order extra but we were stuffed! There was also some time to walk around the harbor and go in a couple of the shops there. Then we headed back north to Rodney Bay for the sunset and a rum toast. Captain Jim and OB were were great and wonderful guides of St Lucia. Couldn't say enough nice things about the day and Cap. Jim was very accommodating in the booking process - even with all of my questions (and I asked a lot - I'm a planner). Don't think twice - book a trip!

We are avid boaters and wanted an afternoon of sailing during our trip to St Lucia. We could not ask for more. This is an authentic sailing experience that allows you to see the island from a different perspective. With a family of five we were able to have a private sail. OB and his first mate were so accommodating. The cruise included beverages and snacks and we opted to stop and pick up a take out lunch to bring on the boat so as not to waste any time away from the water. It was perfect.

Thank you for your review! Seeing St Lucia from the Caribbean Sea is a treat and as you say you get a "different perspective". You see the lush landscape and I am sure you also enjoyed having the boat just for you and the family ... Leaving the Crowds Behind... Thank you for choosing Jus'Sail and taking time out to write your review. Sending our best wishes to you and your family. From the Jus'Sail Crew.

Booked the 1/2 day sail with Jussail during our vacation in St. Lucia. Had originally booked a “Sunset” cruise but our plans changed and James - of JusSail - happily accommodated our alteration. Went yesterday- St Patty’s Day. OB our captain and Kris is first mate we’re engaging and very helpful ( and patient). We’re not as nimble as we once were. Sailing out of Rodney Bay Marins / just a few minutes taxi ride from the Sandals resort, OB had us on a port tack heading south in no time. Drinks were plentiful and delicious. Good was “finger food” and more than you could ask for. Oh, I guess that I should mention the boat. Built in the 1950’s our wooden sloop ( one mast) was 36 ft long with a full keel. This meant a smooth easy ride even though the afternoon winds did pick-up. OB and Kris handle the sails like experts. If you’re into sail boats, sailing or just want something different definitely go for a cruise with Jussail.
