First of the fort is on by an American expat. Second there is a little museum. Third I recommend either Castillo San Felipe de Barajas in Cartagena,Columbia, Castillo de San Christobal , Parque Nacional Castillo de San Felipe del Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico, United States of America, and Fort Mackinac in Michigan over this fort. La Toc was a great place to dive and play golf (9 holes at a time). The people were wonderfully friendly. The food was great. Lots of different cultures and food in one place. We had an incredible time. I enjoyed getting to see the other Sandals on the island. All had great food and drinks. Saw sea horses on... More

Uriel gave us a good tour around the Battery. A 19th century British gun emplacement. We booked our own tour 10 US each. He took us on the slightly longer tour which is not possible in a big group. This included the very interesting gunpowder room. There is a funny story how they got the gun barrel up the hill... More

Really, there is nothing left of this except an old ruin which you cannot enter or get into / not worth the time and energy to go see this, really nothing there.

Friendly tour guides will show you around this colonial battery. It doesn't require a lot of time, and there are some very interesting artifacts to see.

Just arrived home from Sandals La Toc property, my wife and I had a great time. The staff was great always willing to help us. During our stay we met a bartender named Nathalie. Nathalie works in the Irish Pub, she is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She treated us like family and always made us... More
