No, not really, but a fantastic place to unwind, relax, enjoy rum punch and waste time listening to the great and the bad on karaoke. This was my third visit to the island and the Rum Shop is just yards from your docking point. On this visit we never got further than this which many of you may think is a wasted day, but it's a holiday and when it is so hot you just want to relax and chill and you can't find a better spot to chill. There is a large grass area on three sides of the Rum Shop or as we call it, The Rum Shack. Just opposite is a new addition of another bar which offers four locally brewed real ales including a fantastic IPA and for the younger enthusiasts a hoppy chocolate stout. You can sit and watch the small aircraft departing and arriving on the VERY small airstrip just across the bay or if you want, shop at the duty-free markets just behind the shack. And the prices! Not bad at all, a rum punch that knocks your socks off is around $5.00US and the real ale bar serves your beer in pint glasses, so a real measure. I have visited possibly a dozen or so Carribean islands and this bar is in the top five If you are very lucky you may even catch one of the ship's special star guest singers having a dring and joining in on the karaoke and then you are in for a real treat.

This has to be the best Rum I ever had. The one mistake I made I didn't buy enough to take home. The coffee Rum is a real winner!
