Villa on the Bay is a newly renovated, spacious villa with an absolutely stunning view atop of Marigot Bay . We were looking for a very special house to host a family gathering of 8 adults and 2 children in St Lucia. This home worked out perfectly. It has a large open floor plan flowing onto extensive decks with ample outdoor teak furniture and 5 en suite bedrooms. The location in Marigot Bay is ideal for exploring the northern and southern parts of the island--from Pigeon Island to the Pitons. But, frankly, its hard to leave the house! We spent hours on the pool deck watching what has to be some of the most beautiful boats in the Caribbean come in and out of the harbor.
While some of our group hiked the Pitons, highly recommend chartering the Lady Anne for a half day and approaching the majestic Pitons from the water. Also recommend day trip to Sugar beach.

Great little secluded beach available by either land or sea. We took a water taxi from the cruise ship pier and I highly recommend this way as it is faster and no traffic! The beach and Marina are located in a secluded natural cove where the water is warm and very calm. If you don't like waves this is the place for you! As long as you make a purchase from Doolittle Restaurant, all the amenities are free. These included recliners, umbrellas, Free Wi-Fi, a pool, showers and bathrooms! The food and beverages are very reasonably priced as well.

We dropped passengers off here on our last visit and were really taken by the beauty of the bay and vowed to return. Our privately hired boat stopped here on return from the Pitons and we stopped for lunch and a mooch around.

It’s a bay that is possibly best viewed from a boat as it isn’t easy to get from one side to the other but we enjoyed our couple of hours here despite temperamental weather. Relaxed vibe and many bars and restaurants to choose from.

We took the public bus from Castries (it is 10 dollar EC if you ask the driver to take you down to the bay, otherwise it is 2,75 EC dollar if the driver just leave you in the main street. From there it is 15 minutes walking down). We arrived at the bay and took the ferry to go to the beach (5 EC dollar with return). We didn't really like the beach there, very small, too crowdy. There is a beach club which seems nice. We also visited the bay with a catamaran coming back from a trip, and it was quick, just a look at the bay with all the big rich boats. Overall, not my best place.

Beautiful Bay with stunning sunsets . Very colonial. Some of the boats (super yachts) are breathtaking. Lovely cafes to stop and watch the world go by . Beach is small . The Hotel Marigot Bay great for swimming in their pool and a cocktail or two .

I visited there because I read it's beautiful, movie scenes... It turned out to be a very small harbor and a few restaurants and shops along a mere 100 meter long street. There is a free parking lot before you enter the harbor access. You can take a water taxi to an island beach stone throw away. It might be more beautiful if you sail a boat there...

First time we were in St. Lucia we got to see Marigot Bay by land, this time we got to see it by see. Impressive either way.
Looks like a great place to spend your vacation at.

A special thank you to Andrew for his kind, courteous services, when needing to see ER in Castries. Exceptional service. Thank you.

Also a shout out to the Marigot Bay Resort and Marina for early morning assistance. Thank you to all.

This was our third trip to Marigot Bay. The beach is fantastic. It’s never too crowded and the folks who work on the beach are incredibly accommodating; they had fresh coconuts with rum which were delicious, they helped with lounger chairs, there’s always plenty of cold Piton to drink, and a beach lunch is also available. Our kids loves the rope swing and fresh banana. We highly recommend visiting this beach. It’s wonderful!

This is a convenient start for your first day out your last day in for a charter charter. You could easily check in customs and immigration here on a Sunday the restaurants are good. Everything is in the inconvenient it’s a beautiful spot to start. You can enjoy the resorts without having to pay for the accommodation.
