We walked all along the ocean. On the left side, there were trees. It gace shade.
The sand was a bit grey.
We could see Point Pelee.
The ocean was enticing. There were lots of kids and adults in the ocean.
There were boats as well.
There were quite a lot of people on this beach.
Worthwhile to see!

This is a great little beach with soft waves and lots of shade. I would recommend bringing a portable hammock which is just perfect for here to string between the palm trees. Also if you have a float or noodle this is great too. We also had lunch at one of the beachside cafes (l"abrilcotier) great ambiance, nice comfy chairs on the beach but no bathroom. If you have a chance go across the street to the museum of Paul Gaugin. Great spot.

This is a one of my best beaches in Martinique. You can park next to the road and the beach is after 5meters.There are some tables where you can put your drinks or food.View is amazing as you can see the mountain.A small cafe located there with amazing food and cocktails. Recommend!

Anse Turin is a beautiful long beach of volcanic sand, but not too dark at Montagne Pelée's feet. The sea water here is fabulous and although the weather is a bit more unstable than the rest of the island I think this is one of the most beautiful Martinican beaches beside Cap Macré.

we have been here twice. We really enjoyed it and the dark gray sand is what makes this beach so charming.
trees to shelter from the sun and a short walk along a path to go see or swim in the natural hot baths (do not do if it rains or in case of strong swell as the water will not be as hot as desired ;)
We met wild goats and very friendly people along the way.
