This is a very nice beach, very long, parking was difficult, many pot hold dirt road on one side of the beach. Stayed in the water to not get bitten by the bugs. There are many other beaches that are more pleasant.

Les Salines is a gorgeous beach in the southern end of Martinique. The sand is soft and white, and the water is crystal clear. The beach itself is lined with palm trees and beautiful lush vegetation. It is absolutely a picture perfect beach. What I really loved here, though, was the vibrant atmosphere at the beach. There are food vendors... More

Yes it can be touristy at the weekends, and at mid-day, but all the locals still go. It is a must do in Martinique, if you are an explorer I recommend going left and walking all the way around the corner to some other beaches which aren't mapped but will be completely deserted. This beach is a gem.

The beaches at the southern point of the island are really beautiful. The first strip towards the west are really touristic with a lot of people and several places to have snacks. If you drive further there is a beach towards the south which is less crowded. Especially in the late afternoon you will not see many people anymore.

This is one of the prettiest beaches on St Barts. It is very natural without facilities but there is a restaurant in walking distance. You do need a car to get here and there is a very long walk from parking lot but it is well worth the effort. White sand dunes and crystal clear water.

This is one of the best beaches on Martinique. The sand is white and there are many palm trees. If you want to relax in the sun and go swimming, you'll love it here. As a fan of snorkel you will not see anything here. There's only white sand and crystal clear water. Be sure to buy some of the... More

Excellent place to visit on afternoons as most of the crowd is gone by that time and you can have the beach nearly to yourself. Privacy comes with the price as most of the sales trucks shut down their business as soon as the people count drops below hundred or so. There are some change cabins as well as lavatories... More

Whenever visiting Martinique, a drive to this incredibly beautiful beach is a MUST! It is clean and unspoiled. On the week ends, you are able to purchase local food for lunch, but during the week (unless it is a holiday) bring your own food/drinks. We usually go to St. Anne's part of Les Salines beach, with it's white sand and... More

This is a lovely long stretch of beach, kind of a hike from where we were staying in Le Diamant but was nice to see a different type of beach. Yellow sand, short beach, people spread out under the shady trees. Make sure you get coco ice cream from the wheelbarrow ladies ringing their bell - what could be better... More
