This is a lovely place with great views and very friendly people! I hope they re-open soon I want to get some of their delicious 🍕 pizza and just relax with a non-alcoholic piña colada!! No pictures because it is closed for now.

Deon, and all his coworkers were excellent and added to our special experience. We had spent the day in Culebra and were tired. We were staying next door at the Hacienda Tamarindo. We walked over and were treated the whole night like royalty. It was so good we came back the next night too! We had the mufungo and salmon. Excellent. The second night we both had great salads and the flank steak. It too was was five star delicious. Service by by everyone was again excellent. I think our server's name was Gayha (?). Price was very reasonable and sitting on the ocean view deck watching the son go down was priceless. We really hope to be back!

This is a review exclusively of the bar at the Blue Horizon. The grounds are lovely and we locals enjoy the music and events hosted by the Inn-- but it is a special night out for many of us. Yes, we dress up, put on our best manners and feel like we're treating ourselves and our guests to a splurge. But this bar is not a class act. Service was slow and inattentive so I had ample time to observe short-pours of the cocktails. Having worked at a bar I can't help but notice details. I chose a glass of house wine after looking at the printed drink menu. When I was charged 20% over the listed price I patiently waited to question the bartender. I was directly and abruptly told that all prices had increased and there was no correlation to the menu. Dishonesty, either by the bar staff or by misrepresentation of prices is no bueno and begs correction. This is a place we want to love so I wrote a letter to the management with no response to date. A simple menu insert saying to ask a server for the prices du jour would help; A viable printed menu would eliminate fraud. It's a real buzz kill feeling ripped off even if it is for a few bucks. I'm rooting for an overhaul of this venue and will write an update when it occurs. In the meantime my friends, visitors and I will expand our horizons.

We were on our honeymoon and we stayed next door at the Hacienda Tamarindo and went for an evening meal. Service was a little slow but not too bad. The atmosphere, view, and location were spectacular. The food? so freaking good! We had the Mahi Mahi and best of all, the calamari appetizer. My new bride and I could not believe how good it was... The only reason i would return to Vieques would be for the bioluminescent bay tour during a new moon and the calamari at this joint! it was that good!

We ate here one night and it was like a scene in a movie. The bar is huge, open air and under a large thatched roof. The sound of the coqui frogs along with the wonderful music playing was the perfect addition to the atmosphere. We had an array of appetizers, which were simply delicious. It is a place I look forward to visiting again.
