Least favorite on Viqeues but still nice

This was probably our least favorite beach on Vieques. Anywhere else this beach would be stellar, and it still is a beautiful beach. But it just didn't have the soft, white sand... read more

Hidden Beach on the north-western side of Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. After swimming in the clear blue water you can explore the many trails and historic sites on that side of the island.

This was probably our least favorite beach on Vieques. Anywhere else this beach would be stellar, and it still is a beautiful beach. But it just didn't have the soft, white sand or the calm, Caribbean blue waters. We heard it was good for snorkeling but did not go. It's all the way at the SW end of the island... More

This beach is a little tricky to find but well worth it. We had the beach to ourselves with great snorkeling right there in the shallows.

Beach: This is one perfect spot for people traveling in their personal boats from the main island of PR to Vieques since connects easily with the big island. The water on my visit looked murky but soooo calm at the same time. I think it is important to meet this place if you are a beach fan since is the... More

Just a nice place to relax and hang out. We snorkeled there also. There is always something special to see.

We were the only four people on the beach in mind April 2016! I was shocked at how empty it was, but we were complaining! Beach was clean and clear and the water was warm and refeshing!

We drove out to Green Beach (Punta Arenas) because it was raining off and on that day so sitting on a beach didn't make sense. There were parts of the drive that I wondered if even our jeep could get through, and times when we wondered if it was a road at all. The beach itself was totally forgettable, at... More

The views were beautiful for sunset but we got eaten alive by sand flies. Tried to take refuge in the water but still got covered in bites. Managed to avoid mosquitos and got done in by sand flies

I did not spend time here although it is quite nice and uncrowded. The winds were blowing a bit too much for great snorkeling, so we moved on La Chiva instead.

We rented a Jeep & headed out to who knows what! We were pleasantly surprised by a beautiful, sprawling Coastline. Unfortunately - it's right at a power station - but, you can look past that...unlike all of the garbage tossed everywhere. Very sad. Glad we went exploring, tho!
