I don't think many people get out to Punta Arenas and/or locals try to keep it a secret. It is a long drive from the towns and the last part of the trip gets bumpy, however, it is entirely worth the drive. The beach is small, with the treeline very near the water, but the water is crystal clear. Just... More

People talked about it like it was so far - 15 minute drive... and said the bugs were awful - not when I was there... secluded and gorgeous... bring a snorkel and just go.

We anchored at Green Beach on the last day of our charter. Plenty of sand to anchor in. This as well as other anchorage on Viequez were not crowded. We spend all afternoon in the water just being lazy. There were a few locals who drove to the beach and had a great time as well. It was a good... More

Most likely it will be just you! That alone is worth it on this westernmost beach in Vieques. We went by boat and that is highly recommended!

There is hardly any sand on this beach, which take a while to get to because of the long road leading to it that is not in great condition. But we were rewarded with perfect snorkeling conditions and saw some fun stuff snorkeling just a short way off the beach.

It takes a long and winding road to get to the Green Beach. It is also very bumpy. As such the beach is very secluded. (There was only one other car there when we went). The sandy beach is small but not far from it is superb snorkeling in beautiful turquoise water with a backdrop of the Puerto Rico Mainland.... More

It takes a bit to get to Green Beach, but stick with it, it is worth it. You take the highway out passed the airport and Mosquito Pier and just keep heading west....the pavement turns to gravel/mud and eventually you come to a T. Go left and you are soon there. The beach itself is not that wide, but there... More

Don't let the bad road keep you from here. Get a jeep and Head out 200 to the park sign and go left. 3rd or 4th pull off on the right and you are set. It's the pull off after the covered area on the right. Keep going for more beaches, etc. There are drop offs and coral formations about... More

Visited Green Beach yesterday and very glad we did. Jeep makes the trip easier, but we saw another couple in a Kia Soul. When you get to the sign I've attached, turn left. If you go to the right, you'll end up at a power station and there's no swimming there. After you make the left turn, we went to... More

The roads to green beach are a disaster, be prepared for very bad roads. There is very little beach, but we did get into the water and found lots of conch shells.
