Found a very nice beach as recommended here. #10 turn off ( no sign, but 9 & 11 are marked) sends you to semi private beach w shallow warm waters. Not much sea life, other than a 1' stingray checking out my feet for a little while.

Visited Blue Beach and loved it! Went to spot #10. Had a little shade under palm tree which is important for me since I'm a red head and snorkel with a shorty wetsuit, despite how nerdy I look. Water was like a swimming pool with hardly any waves. Could wade out very far from shore. Saw a few little fish... More

This is a must! Clear water, calm beach. Just make sure you bring your own water beacuse there is nothing around. A car in neede in Vieques.

We went several times, mostly to spot #10. My 4 year olds could walk out 100 feet alone on a sandy bottom, totally clear ocean. We tried other spots, but this was the best by far. I've been a lot of places, but this is just plain magical.

Lots of little parking areas that hold just a few cars, so you're guaranteed more than enough space. We found a lovely spot under a coconut tree, and could only see two other groups of people on the beach. The water is beautiful, warm, crystal clear, with gentle waves.

Long day getting to this beach from San Juan (drive to Fajardo, ferry to Vieques, then taxi to the beach). But it was the nicest of the beaches we visited this trip. Pack some food and lots of water as there are no vendors at this beach.

Beautiful Beach, but some seaweed in the water and on the beach. Be careful, it's poky. There is a small island right across from the beach that we snorkel too, saw some beautiful fish and coral reefs.

Lovely warm water with gentle surf, had a great time lounging for hours. Remember to bring water proof sun screen as you will need it.

Over rated in sense that there are 21 different cutoffs to gain access to beach and everybody wants to go to furthest one on the road. Folks usually figure it out after the first day. Nice place but can be overcrowded. Sun bay which is public beach near Esperanza is better option. ...gives you access to two other nice beaches....Media... More

This beach was fantastic!! Very clean, lots and lots of beautiful shells and even a little bit of sea glass. We were there in the shoulder season and both days that we visited this beach, we were the only people there.
