We used island adventures as we not kayak users...they had a pontoon. Was amazing, informative and just not to be missed. The mosquitoes were not bad and the stars were amazing too with little ambient light. Well worth the $50.

Hands-down the most amazing night of our honeymoon. Magical, beautiful, fun, peaceful, romantic. Highly recommend. We used JAK Watersports for our tour and they were GREAT.

Super cool. This is a must do while on Vieques. The tours are very informative and teach you a lot about the biology of the bay. Take a kayak tour if you can and enjoy the experience.

This is one of the most inredible experiences ever. Do a little research before going. The moon cycle makes a big difference to how bright the bay is. The water is so incredibly soft. This trip belongs on everyones bucket list.

I loved this tour so much that I felt like a 5 year old kid in his first adventure in life... The closest thing that I can compare it to is the movie Avatar... I completed my tour with Abe's (David was an excellent tour...More

We did the bay tour with JAK watersports. They seemed to be the earliest group (meet at 7 pm) and I'm not a night owl. The kayaks are clear on the bottom which increases your viewing capability of the dinoflagilites. The astronomy lessons were great...More

Not to be missed - go when there is no moon and go with a smaller tour company that will teach you about the environment.

I agree with other reviewers who went with Jak Watersports for the clear bottom kayaks. Because it's a clear glass bottom, they request no shoes to be worn. You're barefoot so no water shoes necessary. They provide natural bug repellent so don't use your own...More

We rented a car from Vieques Car Rental. and we stayed at Birdsneststudios for three nights, which was not enough time on the island.
