To get to Navio Beach, you take a bumpy drive toward Media Luna beach. Once there, make a left (to the east) down an even bumpier, very narrow, and unmarked dirt road. You will dead end in Navio Beach. Navio Beach is terrific, and different...More

The beach is secluded, but was filled with seaweed so we didn't stay on the beach long. Instead, we hiked up the cliff on the left side of the beach and were able to see beautiful views of the ocean and into what I think...More

There aren't many trees since Maria hit. Didn't matter to us, we brought a little tent for shade. Water was wonderful!

We kind of stumbled upon this beach by accident. We though maybe you could get to Caracas beach along the coast, but didn't consider all the bays! Anyway, I'm so glad we found it, ha! It is one of the most picturesque places I've ever...More

I have a 2, 10 and 12 year old and this is their favorite beach of all time. The 12 year old likes jumping off the lava cliffs to the west while the younger two like playing in the sand on the beach and exploring...More

This is an iconic beach in Vieques that after hurricane María, Sept 2017 lost many palm trees and has been hard to get to. We went last weekend and found it as beautiful as ever... and with lots of seaweed. We had a lovely time...More

Picture postcard beach with turquoise water and white sand. However, the wave action is quite strong so good for boogie boarding but too rough for most waders and swimmers. I enjoyed the ten minute walk from Media Luna beach and saw some nice flora and...More

Unless you rent a Jeep you will probably have to walk to this beach. The road can be pretty rough and most rental companies don't want you to drive their vehicles to this beach unless you rent a Jeep. BTW, Media Luna beach is on...More

Navio beach is beautiful! White sand, clear blue water. It's ringed on both sides by cliffs, so there only really one way to get there by land, and that's on a very rutted, very rugged dirt road, on which only SUVs, Jeeps and pickups should...More

No! I left my flip-flops on the sand under the back of our rental Jeep. (Bad idea) They were stolen while we were enjoying the beach. Crimes of opportunity are common here bit violent crime is pretty much unheard of.
