Simply put, this company provides excellent services for an affordable price. From the bio bay, to snorkeling, our escorts catered to our every need, including recommendations on dining, and partying on the beautiful island of Vieques. Thank you Reid for the laughs and good times.

We loved getting to see this natural wonder. Got lots of information beforehand and felt very safe on the water. We learned a lot from our guides Katy and Cuba, but were annoyed by the driver Reid's lack of professionalism...including offering/smoking a joint in the...More

Parking in Isabel? (3 Replies)
I just saw a video and it looks like the parking can be a problem in Isabel. We are renting an apartment which does not have off-street parking. And we are going have rented a car for a week. How bad parking issue really can be? It is near Black Beard Sports and Glass Beach area. Will we have a problem finding a spot in the evening or late afternoon coming back from beaches and restaurants?

Kayak transport with a rental vehicle (11 Replies)
My husband and I will be in Vieques in November and plan on renting a kayak from Black Beard Sports for 4 or 5 days so we can take it to multiple spots during that time. We were planning on renting our vehicle from Maritzas but they said we cannot put anything on top of the vehicle. Does anyone know of a car rental facility that will allow this? We didn't want to have to arrange delivery of a kayak to different beaches and be stuck in one spot for the day, plus the daily rate is cheaper if we...More

I think I would ask Blackbeards how their customers are transporting the kayaks. My guess is they rent you a rack along with the kayaks that won't damage the roof of the car.

My husband and I will be on Vieques July 26-Aug 2. We have been diving 31 years this year. I have emailed Nan Sea Charters and plan to dive with them. I looked at the website and the map that showed over 20 snorkeling spots and underwater pics mad at the specific spots. You might want to check it out. I just googled Nan Sea Charters and there is a link off that for D Evans Photography (he owns Nan Sea). Has anyone been out with them and what was your experience. The $100/pp for a 2 tank boat...More

Thanks Jim. I found Blackbeard's website too and was shocked at the price. Are there any safe shore dives, if we are able to rent tanks and weights? PR is fantastic diving (have been during 2 vacations on big island of PR out of Fajardo)compared to the Gulf Coast of Florida or even Kauai, Oahu or Maui. We are going to be staying in Esperanza. Any easy and safe shore dives out of there? The uw pics by Dave off the pier there were wonderful. TIA.
