My friends and I chose this trail to go to la Mina falls. It was beautiful. The signs on them way were helpful and taught us a lot about the nature around us.

We likes standing and watching the waterfall but it looked quite dangerous to actually go into the waterfall area. Greta to look at.

Hike one of the many trails and see waterfalls and towers built long ago. Fun for couples and for family too. No cost to spend the day exploring!

We hiked to the waterfall in the afternoon after hiking up to the peak and back down. I would recommend hiking to the waterfall first thing in order to avoid the crowds. By the time we made it to the waterfall there were a ton...More

It's a long water fall, and you cannot see the top (because of the trees). Many people climbed the rocks to get near the fall. You have to be very careful to do so as rocks may be slippery.

While visiting El Yunque you must experience this trail! Take a dip in the waterfall and the ponds. Wear running clothes that dry easy - there is no where to change and wearing bathing suit under clothes is difficult to maneuver on the rocks. Only...More

Great hike so long as you are in ok physical condition. Although you can bathe in the water surrounding the waterfall, the waterfall itself can be dangerous, so approach with caution. In my opinion, young children (under 12ish) should not swim to it and even...More

The Mina Trail is fully cleared and paved, making it a nice hike for the inexperienced or those who don't want anything technically challenging. The paving stones, however, can get very slippery, especially in the rain, so be prepared and wear reasonable hiking shoes. It's...More
