A moderately priced tour is given to see firsthand the living quarters of a famous family that were at one time the main employer of the area. The tour guide was very well versed in all aspects of the family's growth and history. Very pleasant tour, visiting the living quarters from a long gone era.

A must visit when you visit Ponce. Located on El Vigía overlooking the city is one of the best views you can have! The tour is great where you can learn the history of this family castle and the city.

The castle was the summer house to the Serralles family. The view is spectacular. Can be rented for weddings and social functions. A bit tricky to get there.

While you visit there ask about the ghost in the main office, also don't forget to go up and walk around the garden. The view is just amazing.

We got there a bit late for tour so we couldn't go in this time but we took great pics and the view on the city of Ponce was amazingly beautiful. I recommend it, inside you can see the original furniture and learn from the Serralles family.

This "castle" was once the residence of the family that created the Don Q rum empire. Considered one of the best premium rums in the world, the family also owned and still manage the distillery to this day. The home showcases the original furniture and manicured gardens which are now used for weddings and social gatherings. Also they showcase the... More

We came to Ponce and stop by to know about the big history behind this castle and the family who owed in the past. It is the history ofthe ron and the family who started. Beautiful things inside the castle and the history that it involves. Recommended.

This was a fun place to stop and take a tour. The views from the entire front of the house is amazing. It is very typical of many older house tours, but unique in the way the people had to live in Puerto Rico. Be aware that you should stop to buy tickets by the huge cross on the top... More

This is a house worth touring. Spectacular views informative history the about the Serralles family & their rum industry. They offer tours in English & Spanish so call ahead for exact times. The tour was informative but our guide seemed to rush as we were the last tour of the day (hence the 4 stars).
