We did the Prison Break escape room and sadly did not make it :(
Good concept. Could work more on the area as it looked quite unkept and with visible damage. The chess board which was part of one if the clues was broken and glued again many times over and pieces broke off right away when we pulled from inside jail to escape so we could not figure it out. At $111 for 45 minutes you’d think they could invest in fully functional clues. We could not have our mobile phones with us so we cannot show how damaged the clue was.
However, the definitive downside and experience killer to this experience was the employee. He definitely was there because he had to and there was zero hospitality or entertainer mentality in him. He was borderline rude and as much as my party and I tried to brush it off, he killed the mood and damaged our whole experience.
From the greeting which was aloof and as if we were bothering him, to his barking orders for us to jot our names down on the list, to even telling a person in our party to wait to go to the bathroom because he wanted us to finish the check-in first, to not telling us what was coming next and leaving us 10 minutes in the dark, unventilated, locker area without us knowing where to go and what to expect, to the way he delivered the clues, not turning on the tv to see the time left, it was cringey customer experience. Everything about this employee was bland and unmotivated… such a disappointment from all the other escape room experiences where employees are engaged, add to the experience and create the perfect environment for the guests to leave feeling like they had the full experience and thrill of an escape room.
It was a waste of money but lesson learned and not unexpected considering the hospitality and experiences in my island sadly crassly lack any service edge at all.
And as I read on the email that invited me to leave a review, we were supposed to be invited to take a photo and guess what? We were neither informed or encouraged to take a group photo. If we did, I could have upload it :)
Try and do better.

Sept, 2021. We were a family of 4 who loves a challenging escape room. We tried the Prison Break room. First off, our scheduled time was 8:15, which, we arrived for at 8:14. We were then told that we get 45 minutes to complete the room, but that the time starts at 8:15, not when we get into the room, meaning we needed to arrive early to our assigned time, but no one had told us this. So after putting our phones in a locker, and one person in our party quickly going to the bathroom, then getting through the "orientation", we started the room with only 38 minutes left to solve the riddles. The employee may have stretched that to 40 minutes for us, but we didn't get 45 minutes in the room.
Every single clue involved a numeric lock. You had to solve the 4-digit combo for each lock, and the item you received once you opened the box was exactly the same. You had to assemble the items together to use it as a tool. Once you get out of the prison there's a second area/room with 3 more numeric locks, again, you needed to solve the 4-digit combo to get into the locked box.
We needed about 2 more minutes to solve the room, and when we were finished with our time they wouldn't tell us what the last solution was to complete the room. To learn that we'd need to re-book the room and go through all of the clues we've already solved so we could spend more time with that last clue.
Not a great experience. We've tackled maybe a dozen escape rooms around the US and this was in the bottom 3 for us. I'm not a creative person and I think I could have built a more challenging, engaging room than this. If you ask me, it's a pass for this place until they improve the room.

We had an afternoon session pre-booked and they were 20 minutes late showing up to unlock the front door. The room itself was very sparsely decorated and many of the items we were told not to touch or were not involved in the game, so it was confusing to remember which were which. We got thrown off when a critical non-intuitive action was required in order to unlock a door. We figured out what we had to do but even when we did it correctly, it didn’t work so we assumed that was not the correct action. We lost a lot of time and we’re unable to complete. Other escape rooms I’ve been to have had a number of things to do and find in each room so a group can break apart and collect components. This room was pretty much everyone trying to figure out one clue at a time. Would have given this three stars if they would’ve been on time.

Escape room enthusiast beware!! This was the worst escape room experience I've ever had. To start, the "game master" just through us into the room after stating the rules but never even gave context or a story of the room. Additionally, this room was poorly set up. There was a compartment that we opened with a code but the inside was completely empty. After a few minutes, we ended up asking the "game master" if it was supposed to be empty and they had to give us the answer to the next portion because the contents of that compartment had been locked elsewhere. To make matters worse, a set of keys was needed to open the locks to a chest that contained the clue for the final code yet the keys were MISSING from the room. After repeatedly asking the "game master" to show us where the keys were located, even he could not find them and stated that there was a chance that the previous group took the key. Essentially the room was broken from the start and missing the necessary pieces to escape.
We were robbed of our experience and our money. I reached out to explain my disappointment and was never contacted by any member of staff. This place displayed a lack of professionalism, stole our money, and completely disregarded my complaint. Please don't waste your time and money here.

Went a fam of 4 One daughter has done 14 prior ones
.we needed to ask for clue 3 times. Very dark room and hard to line up the cloths with numbers. Left unopened two chests. I don't believe the Dungeon task has been completed often . When asked about percentage of completion, no answer given. I think there is fun in going out and doing this, but if the rate of completion is low. Word gets around and eventually people will stop spending over $100 for the unfinished activity. Will not do this anytime soon.

This place is very unprofessional and I think it’s scam I booked a session for me and my son and never got a chance to joint the activity. Someone from the place called me while I was 10 mins away and said they had to cancel due to emergency. I reached out to Luis which is the manager asking for my refund he said he will send and it’s been 2 days I have yet to receive any information and no one is answering the phone now. I Rate 0 stars

We did the Crash Landing. For a large group is not good, I would say 3, maximun 4 people is ok, becaise it is a linear solving, not like other rooms I have done, in which the group can divide and work on different things, The space is cramped and not too much to do for a large group of 5 plus persons. That made the experience not good for everybody, specially when everyone paid $30:plus taxes. I am sorry, they need to adjust the number of persons and developma escape room that multiple things can be done and everyone in the group can have tasks to do.

This was such a fun experience with family. We went as a surprise for my brother's birthday and everyone had so much fun, very inclusive for diverse age groups. However, the customer service was lacking which definitely influenced our experience and ability to escape. We had 2 free clues, but the employee who was supposed to help us was no help at all. Ever since the beginning she was not engaged or interested in being there. We had to ask for background on the situation of the escape room as she provided none. When we asked for the clues she reiterated what we already knew from the clues we had found. She was completely uninterested, something we felt all throughout and influenced our experience negatively. After spending so much money it would be good to have customers feel like they are supported and motivated so they don't leave frustrated.

I would give negative stars if possible. I pre booked and paid for our family of four for an appointment at 3pm Sunday June 11. When we arrived the escape room was closed. A lady standing outside had a 2pm appointment for her kids birthday party. She and I were both trying to contact the owner Luis to no avail. I tried multiple times over several days to contact Luis by phone, voicemail, text and email. I also stopped back by the escape room another day and explained the problem to one of his employees who took my name and number and said she would have Luis contact me. I still never heard back and never received a refund. I am now disputing the charges with my credit card company. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Horrible and boring. Only has 1 room, the clues were not even readable. The lack of detail was evident. One clue required to open a ceiling door that had a "do not touch" note. There are a lot of good scaperooms in Puerto Rico this is not one of them.

We’ve never done an escape room before. Is this something that can be fun for just two people? My husband and I will be in San Juan for our honeymoon in a couple of weeks and I’m looking for fun things to do... also how far are you from the Marriott San Juan?
Written May 7, 2018
Definetly, I did it with my husband. It was a team effort. Love it.
