We used Puerto Rico Green Transportation for a private tour and highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable for our group of 9 for 6 hours. Our guide Joseph was great - we had a pretty general itinerary, but when Joseph picked us up he asked us a few questions and he ended up changing things a bit based on our feedback. We ended up doing a moderate hike (but more challenging than what we had initially planned on) to Charco Prieto Waterfall - there were definitely some tough spots with slippery rocks, but Joseph made sure we were safe, reminding us to take our time, and giving us extra assistance when needed. Afterwards we stopped for some delicious snacks and he ended up dropping us off at a wonderful restaurant for a late lunch. He also provided us with a few other recommendations for our trip.

Communication ahead of time was very good and responses were timely. Also Joseph was about 5 minutes early picking us up - so no worries if you are on a tight time frame!

Overall, I recommend Puerto Rico Green Transportation!

Extremely Reliable and Excellent Customer Service

This company is extremely reliable and provided my group excellent service! We booked over 8+ rides with this company and had a great experience each time! We had at least 5 different drivers, each of them friendly and accommodating. All of them spoke English and Spanish and made efforts to ensure our comfort, allowing us to choose the music and asking about the temperature of the van. The drivers provided great recommendations and can give some knowledge about the history of certain areas as well! They know the area and activities around, are good navigators, and safe drivers. Each time we used this service the drivers were either 5-10 minutes early or exactly on time for our pick up time. They were also great about maintaining constant communication to let us know when they were close or had arrived. The vans themselves were high quality, always clean and very spacious, perfect for our group of 14 adults. We also took this service too and from the airport with all of luggage and were able to fit everything in the back and have some carry-on items with us in the front comfortably. Their prices were reasonable and scaled based on the distance to locations and the van rented. I highly recommend this company, especially when traveling with a large group and over long distances. Finding Ubers and Taxis can be unreliable and expensive, especially when you are trying to go to the rainforest or a far away beach. This way we were all able to travel together and arrive on time wherever we were going. Not sure about the pricing of other companies in the area but if you want a reliable ride with excellent customer service then I can’t recommend this place enough! Special shout out to Richard, Smiley, and Jairo for taking such great care of our group!

Robert/Roberto is the best guide!

Please note that I normally am not great about writing reviews but this was one I HAD to do!

We had booked this private tour of East Puerto Rico for a 7 person bachelorette and happened to fall upon the company since we had found out that two of the ladies became pregnant right before the trip. Many tour companies have strict policies on pregnant customers so we were thrilled when Puerto Rico Green Transportation were happy to take care of us. We had a wonderful basically full day tour to El Yunque and Luquillo before being brought back to San Juan. The 11 person can we had was super comfortable and the customer service is fabulous. They also set up an itinerary for the group that was exactly what we were looking for. We got to see different areas of the rainforest, feed some fish in a river, and then take a hike down to the river to take a wonderful swim. Then on the way to Luquillo we went to a natural waterfall/slide which was super fun.

Now let me get to the best part. Roberto was the best tour guide we could have asked for. He made sure that we always had plenty of cold water throughout the day and was a pleasure to be around. He provided a wealth of information in a fun manner and had lovely little stories to share. We really felt we were being taken care of and he always made sure we were safe, as well as our belongings. He was very accommodating and even made an extra grocery store stop at the very end so that we could stock up for the rest of the weekend. Roberto knows so much from personal experience as well as his tourism courses and it was a treat having him as our guide. And the cherry on top, he takes wonderful group pictures too!

Definitely recommend for the experience and price and see if you can request Roberto!

We use PRGT all the time and always recommend to our family and friends and they never disappoint. We are originally from New York City and their service rivals any premium black car service. It’s always a pleasure and a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!!

Naomi was extremely helpful as I was booking a private tour of San Juan for our family of seven, ranging from 6 to 76 in age.
On the day of our tour Robert Garcia called to say he would be our guide and talked about our options for the tour. He provided exactly what we wanted. He went above and beyond to give us an excellent tour of San Juan.
I highly recommend this company.

We used this company for point to point transfers, transfer to the cruise terminal and a private tour and transfer to the airport. Upon our arrival in Puerto Rico a family members luggage was lost by the airline. Our driver Felix was excellent in jumping right in to get us help, translating to the Spanish speaking employee and waiting patiently with us. He was prompt, kind,courteous and made us feel safe and cared for! Thank you Felix for all of your help and an informative comfortable ride to our hotel!! Our driver/tour guide Roberto Garcia was waiting for us at the cruise terminal with a big friendly smile. He assisted with luggage and took us to tour old San Juan. He allowed us to stop where and when we wanted along the tour to take pictures and even helped to take great family pictures for us too. He was so knowledgeable, funny and very kind we so enjoyed our time with him. Thank you Robert for an amazing end to our trip! He even made sure we had cold cloths and water to wipe down and cool off after our walk. My family travels a fair bit and I have never wrote a review in the past for transfers only because I was never wowed. I cannot say enough great things about Puerto Rico Green Transportation from the staff who helped me book to the drivers that took good care of us along the way. I would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone looking for tours/transportation in Puerto Rico!! They are prompt, clean, professional and make you feel like it is all personal to you!! Thank you Puerto Rico Green for helping to make our family’s trip extra amazing!!!

Family Trip To Puerto Rico

Jean Marie Nieves of Puerto Rico Green Transportation took care of all the details of my trip before leaving California and from the time of my arrival into San Juan PR, on Oct.14th, 2021 to the time of departure.
All details prearranged for airport pick up and drop off and the local pick up and drop off and all the tours with their luxury mercedez benz sprinter 14 passenger van was well taken care of by Jean and appreciated her prompt attention to my calls and to all the details of the trip and her immediate attention and follow up to take care of matters as things presented itself was amazing and very efficient, which was very much appreciated by me, (since it made our overall trip experience to Puerto Rico very pleasant and enjoyable). My sincere thanks to Jean for making our trip to Puerto Rico a wonderful experience and would highly recommend her for your travel arrangements to Puerto Rico.

Outstanding tour and airport to hotel transfers

We used Puerto Rico Green Transportation 3 times during our recent vacation over February break. Wesley Rosa, who did the initial pickup from the airport and drop off to the hotel was very helpful and on-time. He also helped us with picking out our first tour. We then had Gabriel Rosa who was the driver/tour guide for our private Old San Juan tour and he also did our final trip, the drop off to the airport. Gabriel was very helpful and had no problems switching up the original tour to accommodate an inside/no walking venue when our daughter got too tired. He even called ahead to ensure what activities were at Casa Bacardi for children to make sure it would be enjoyable for everyone. The private tours are very reasonably priced and the fact that you can customize on the fly based on how everyone is doing makes it extremely helpful when you are trying to visit/tour with young children. I highly recommend and we will definitely be using them next time we visit!

We used PR Green Transportation to get from El Conquistador resort in Fajardo to San Juan (about an hour trip). I called that morning and Jairo was out by 12 PM to pick us up. The vehicle was very clean. Jairo was very professional & attentive, I would definitely recommend this service and Jairo :)

Excellent service from Puerto Rico Green Transportation. The driver, Christian Hernandez, had texted me when the flight touched down, and was waiting by the baggage claim as agreed. Even though the plane was over an hour late due to a late take off, he was waiting for us, with my name displayed so I could see it. This was especially comforting, because our car service to the airport (back in NY on the way to Puerto Rico) cancelled on us 1 hour before we were supposed to leave to go to the airport. Excellent service. Very Happy Customer.
