My wife and I did the El Yunque Rain Forest half-day with Cultural Dance Class tour. Our tour guide was Yamile who welcomed us like family. On the drive to the rain forest Yamile filled us in on all some many aspects of Puerto Rican culture, food and nature even answering all our questions. The tour of the rain forest started with a quick stop at the visitor's center where she showed us a display that showed the aftermath of Hurricane Maria and how much has regrown in the last few years. A short hike down to a crystal clear stream and our guide Yamile stopped along the way to talk about the various flora and fauna that we were seeing. At the stream we had the opportunity to jump in and swim around. Yamile then drove us up to the higher elevations to the Yokahu Tower observation point, 1,500 above sea level with amazing views. Then we were off to lunch. Yamile had given us the option of stopping at a more traditional sit down restaurant or at a more "hole in the wall" place that had some great authentic Puerto Rican food. We opted for the hole in the wall place and it was fantastic.

After lunch we head to Loiza, one of the cultural centers for Bomba music. We got a quick music and dance lesson and had the most amazing time. On the way back to our hotel, Yamile took a different route and gave us a totally different view of the island.

Overall, this tour was amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Ask for Yamile if you can and you will have the best tour guide!

While I visited San Juan, me and my friends decided to sign up for the Old San Juan Tour. On 12/19/2020, Frankie picked us up from the Vanderbilt Hotel. He took us to for lunch at Manlion(the food was amazing for a very good price). On the way to lunch he told us many interesting facts about old San Juan. One fact is San Juan means St, John and Puerto Rico means Rich Port. He also told us that Puerto Rico was owned by Spain before becoming U.S. Territory. Frankie also took us to the San Juan Bautista Cathedral, inside this church is so beautiful, if you ever visit this Island is a must to go to this church with Frankie. I was very pleased on the information Frankie told us, I can hear how passionate Frankie felt about his job and country. I definitely plan on toe re visit this country. Thanks again Frankie.

We had a group large enough that we could book a private city tour through this wonderful company. Frankie Aponte helped us work out the details and was a terrific host, guide, and historian! We basically took a city tour, but our special request was to see the Street Art and Graffiti in the Santurce area since several of us were artists/photographers. Wow! We ended at San Juan Bautista and the beatutifully restored convent - the El Convento Hotel!! Our group is still talking about our fabulous day in Old San Juan. Thank you, Frankie Aponte and Puerto RicoTour Desk!

Went on this tour for Dia de los Reyes. Frankie was a wonderful tour guide. As someone who doesn’t love heights, was a little nervous but felt safe and enjoyed the pace and knowledge of Frankie. Been to the island a few times and have never been able to enjoy these beautiful sites. 10/10 would recommend for a great hiking experience and site seeing in the rainforest

We had a great walking tour of old San Juan with Diana. We saw everything that you want to see in the old town. In the past we have taken several tours of San Juan. This was the best tour we could have imagined. Diana, knowledgeable and articulate, was a font of information about historical Puerto Rico. She has a wonderful personality and was very flexible in arranging places that were of interest to us. We had a wonderful experience!

Our tour guide Krystal was very punctual at the pick up location, and proceeded to get us to the rainforest as one of the earliest tour groups.

She was very knowledgeable and informative and told us what we would be seeing during our half-day visit.

After the brief hike, we returned to the van and went to a local restaurant for lunch. The empanadas were amazing, as were the smoothies they custom blended on the spot.

I would highly recommend this tour.

The full-day El Yunque your is awesome! Ask for Luis and you won’t be disappointed. Luis did an outstanding job, was totally professional and he knows his stuff. He went the extra mile to ensure we knew what we were looking, pointing out and helping us find flora and fauna in el Yunque that we otherwise would’ve missed. Great experience!!

Did a half-day hidden waterfall adventure from San Juan. Our tour guide, Frankie, was very communicative ahead of the pick-up. Once en route he was happy to share his wealth of knowledge about his home island. Prior to arriving at the waterfall there was a stop for local donuts, coffee, and clean bathrooms which was much appreciated.

The drive, while stomach turning was uneventful, and upon arrival to the trailhead we were provided some safety gear and a quick tutorial on descending with the aid of a rope.

What followed was a relaxing hour and a half at a secluded waterfall, the freshest air imaginable, and no sounds but those of nature and our tour companions. On the way back we were treated with a much needed stop to a roadside empanada stand before a quick ride back to San Juan.

I would recommend a pair of non-white shoes a bit more rugged than running sneakers, but other than that one difference I wouldn't have changed a thing.

We have been to many amazing tourist destinations and PRTD made this our favorite experience by far.
They personalized each trip and both Frankie and Francisco (our wonderful tour guides) knew so much about all of our experiences, both in Old San Juan and beautiful waterfalls and other sites. We had so much touring with them we spent almost our whole vacay with them! Can’t say enough good things..thank you both so much!!
