Hello! We are going to San Juan for a short trip in mid-November. (4 nights, 3 full days in PR). The day with 4 cruise ships in town, we are going to do one of the El Yunque & Luquillo tours, probably with Natural Wonders. I'm wondering about clothes & footwear. "Are merrell sandals ok - they are open toed." Yes, they are. Sneakers keep your feet dry, but sandals are ok. Whatever you feel most comfortable in. The trails are paved, so it really doesn't matter. Many people wear bathing suits in the natural pools. I would ask the tour operator directly about the slides. "Is there a place to change at Luquillo before we head back to San Juan" The Luquillo beach near the rainforest does. You can stop at the kiosks there for lunch. The "easy 20...More
