Farm to Table: Culinary Experience

This tour offers you a sensorial experience; touch, smell, see, taste, hear and breathe to give you the opportunity to try new herbs, leaves and edible flowers and even harvest your own salad. Feed, enjoy and care our farm animals. Feeding the farm animals is a fantastic connection for our guest (children and adults) and the animal.
We partner with our farmers who care more about the quality of their harvest. Cultivating relationships from the farm to the table also means that we care about what we eat.

Awesome excursion! We were a family of four visiting Puerto Rico for some R&R. Vanderbilt management suggested that we see Bio Bay in La Parguera. They made a call to the company and set everything up with our tour guide Robert. Robert picked us up right on time from hotel in a luxury Mercedes shuttle. This was a private tour for just our family. No other people on trip. We had about a 1.5 hour drive. Robert was amazing and even stopped a couple places for us to see sights and by local fruit. We stopped at a local eatery once in La Parguera and had amazing fish and chicken tacos and drinks. All included and Robert made sure food was ready upon arrival. Once we ate on to meet the Captain and off to swim in an area where the Caribbean meets the bay. Then at dusk started heading to Bio Bay. It was dark when we arrived. Robert told us what to expect and the history and science behind the organisms and how and why they lit up. Once I dipped my legs in the water our entire family was amazed by the glow. We got in the water and it was magical! I have no other words to describe it. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience, this is a must. Our safety was top priority and every need or request was met! Great company! Will use again! Note: take your goggles with you. Wasn’t thinking about COVID and left ours behind. Still beautiful!

Every part of the trip was mediocre except the bio-luminescent bay itself which is awesome. Unfortunately I did not get dry enough to ride back 2 hours in a vehicle that was freezing with AC. I could not get warm again for hours afterward. The food is okay and do not be mislead by the statements about having drinks on the tour, you can have one cheap beer at lunch on the tour. If I knew then that I could have just driven to the bay and caught a less expensive tour and picked my own lunch spot I would have.

Recently did a farm to table tour, let me clarify I’m from Puerto Rico; however, I was so impressed by the amount of things I learned from this experience. The ride is spectacular, you see the mountains and once you get there you smell the fresh air and combination of flora fragrance around the area. It’s so satisfying to sit and know your are having a meal that is indeed organic, just picked up from the farm. The people at the farm are knowledgeable and friendly, you feel like you are visiting family in the countryside. If you come to Puerto Rico you need to have this experience!

Steven was our guide. From questions and booking (Robert), pickup, and tour this company was a 5 star experience. It was all the positive things you read about in the other reviews. Did it feel like a prescribed tour after reading all the reviews...Yes, and Steven was also flexible, easy going, and always asked how we were doing or if we were comfortable. The van ride was comfortable, the pineapple was ripe and sweet, the scenery was gorgeous, tacos are delicious, and the swimming was magical. This business gets rave reviews from us on their communication and Biobay tour.

We decided to go on the cave tour because we had heard from friends that spelunking in Puerto Rico was a must-do. SO happy that we signed up. The tour was extremely fun, especially if you’re more of an adventure seeker. Our guide, Robert, was knowledgeable and friendly. The caves themselves were unlike anything we’ve experienced. We finished with a great meal at a delicious local spot. Definitely check out the Cave Tours if you have the time!
