Walking tonight in Condado, me and my friend decided to take shelter, as a light rain was falling and sat down on one of the window ledges located on one the closed side shops. This security guard told us in a rude manner that we couldn't sit there (even though that ledge was designed to be used as a bench); when my friend asked him for a break, that we were only going to stay for a few minutes, he told her that he didn't care if it was raining or not and something to the effect that he didn't have to offer any explanation. So we left to avoid confrontation. Who is responsible for hiring these kind of people? On all the years visiting this nice park, a have to say this is the first unpleasant situation experienced.

This is a small park plaza in the middle of Condado high rises, hotels and restaurants.
It has a nice green area with some sculptures, benches and a walkway by the beach.
However the beach beneath is inaccessible due to rocks. Further towards Condado beach is very nice - golden sand, but very dangerous due to big waves and rip currents.

Excellent view from beachfront terrace. Access to a beach, park and restaurants. Wide open clean space. Plenty of crabs available for viewing (and I don’t mean sunburnt tourists). Great spot to visit.

If you're taking a walk in the Condado area, stop by the Plaza Ventana del Mar. There are some great sculptures, beautiful lush tropical landscaping , and even a great walkway, from where you can view the crashing waves of Condado Beach. Definitely a Must See!

Espectacular place to visit and just let the view blow your mind! Located in between La Concha and the Vanderbilt hotels steps away from the beach, this plaza lets you be free...playing Frisbee with your friends, doing yoga, exercising with your personal trainer...whatever. You can enjoy ice cream at Ben and Jerrys and a nice lunch at local restaurants. Cartier, Mont Blanc, Salvatore Ferragamo and Zen Spa are just across from the plaza. At night is simply amazing!

I like the music, and people that gather there. There are also many places to look for food. A very relaxing place to hear music, and watch the waves of the ocean. If you dislike crowds, this is not the day to visit, go another day because it is very pretty.

See and enjoy the Plaza because it is virtually the only spot on Ashford Avenue where you can gaze at the Atlantic Ocean. It is great for spending time walking or relaxing in front of the ocean. The water "boardwalk" is awesome and the views are spectacular. It is one of San Juan's best photo spot. It gets better, though crowded, when concerts or fairs are offered, but it adds to the enchantment of a great ocean front square. The whole area nearby is really cool. The various restaurants in and around Ventana makes you enjoy it even more.

Beautiful place for a stroll, BUT DEADLY BEACH WITH MANY DROWNINGS DUE TO RIPTIDES!!!!. Yesterday two persons one of them trying to save the other died. This is a frequent ocurrence unfortunately. La Concha Hotel Beach is NOT for swimming either.

You could sit and rest a bit but there is no coverage from the sun. there are some poles that maybe used to have something attached, but the big storm likely tore off. you can look out to the sea, but in the heat, you will either need to go down to the beach and get your feet wet or sit under an umbrella, or move on to a restaurant or bar! Also - windy!
