    Must See!
This is just the most wonderful place! The art gallery was so impressive and filled with creative interpretations of Old San Juan landmarks. There’s an extensive gift shop area with beautiful artwork and poetry. It was great to be able to purchase wonderful souvenirs here while supporting a local small business! Definitely stop by if you’re nearby!

    Great place to visit
I loved this place. The artwork is fabulous and we bought a piece. The owner (?) working behind the counter was so nice and offered us to use the bathrooms and sit in the AC as long as we wanted. Highly recommend.

    Well worth the trip!
Nico and Lady Lee have created a beautiful place to visit. We ended up staying for the Tuesday night Open Mic Night, and it was lovely to watch. Made us feel very much like a part of their community.

    Quaint unassuming gallery
This is a great gallery right next to Plaza de Armas. It's got a great layout and the artwork was fun. My favorite painting by far was the interpretation of VSJ, which is attached to this review as one of my photos. You'll only need about 10-20 minutes here, but if you are at the Plaza de Armas, it's worth the visit.

Perfect End to our Stay in Old San Juan
This place is such a treasure, we just popped in looking for something to do on our last day in Old San Juan and we were delighted to find some amazing artwork on display. It was perfect thing to do on our last day since the artwork represented parts of Old San Juan and Puerto Rico. We were able to revisit some of the sights we had seen through the eyes of the artist and it was wonderful. Obviously we left with some artwork to take home to remember our time in Puerto Rico.

This is mainly an art gallery though they do have space in the back for jam sessions and the like. I wanted to buy everything I saw in the shop area. A husband (artist) and wife (poet) owe the place and it is stocked with their work. The poetry was beautiful and the art work was a mix of realistic and more cartoony. I restrained myself and only got two things (one is a gift).

This is mainly an art gallery though they do have space in the back for jam sessions; listen to a live poem recital while sipping on freshly roasted coffee at The Poet's Passage. The cafe serves as an artistic hub for locals to meet, chat and perform. this is right at Plaza de Armas square (a prime spot in San Juan). The exterior features a colonial façade painted bright red with white trim. Inside, colorful art and poetry decorate the walls with local artisan crafts displayed and sold.

of course, you won't stop yourself to buy Puerto Rico's famous Souvenir - small replicas of colorful houses or framed paintings. these are must buy

The Poets Passage is a little gem in old San Juan. Not only is this an art gallery featuring Nico but also a place to hear poetry reading. We appreciate and support the works of local artists and the Poets Passage is a short walk from the cruise terminal for all you cruisers looking for local artisans.

This is a lovely little space -- the art exhibition is filled with color and love and nicely displayed. We weren't there for the open mic night but met Nico and had some wonderful conversation.
It was quiet and peaceful and good for the soul all the way around.

My son and I visited this unique shop and art gallery during our stay in OSJ. They hold poetry readings/open mic night on Tuesdays and have a warm setting with musical instruments. The owner, Lady, was so friendly and welcomed my son to play their guitar. The art work is amazingly beautiful and the poems were so cool and inspirational. My only regret is we weren't in town on a Tuesday for the open mic night.

Stopped by the poets passage when I noticed a beautiful poem in the window that drew me in. The store owner wasn’t there but her husband - a painter - was there and he was very kind. The cashier was also very sweet and answered all of our questions. She even mentioned that they do poetry night on Tuesday but unfortunately we missed the opportunity to attend. Recommend that you stop by to give this place a look.
