This place is just beautiful but I wish more tourists visited and the government provided more funding to keep this place at the level it should be. It is not as well kept as would be ideal and it's being used far below its capacity....More

This botanical garden provides pathways shaded by beautiful trees. A place where you can walk and admire the vegetation at no cost. It is a peaceful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city of San Juan.

New Jardin Botanico in Caguas (4 Replies)
They just opened a new Botanical Garden in Caguas. It is very nice though not totally complete and still young plantings. It is on the ruins of a sugar plantation.. Sculptures, flowers, palms, butterflies. It is free admission for the next 10 days I think. It will be closed Good Thursday and Good Friday, open Easter Sat and Sun. If you have time, stop by- Off of Rt 52, exit 18.

Thanks for the great info Flower farm. Is this a private garden or operated by the conservation trust? Do you have a phone number or know what their hours are?

Also Looking for private tour guide in Cienfuegos (56 Replies)
I will be in Cienfuegos in March for the day and am looking for a tour guide or to hire a taxi for the day. I have reached out to Fernando as per the prior topic. Does anyone have any other contacts? The Jardin Botanico Soledad is a definite stop for us. Also approximately how much would it cost to for 2 people to tour/taxi for about 6 hours? Excited and thankful for any insight.
