Had a good time with my girlfriend who is pregnant. Captian Carlos was a really cool guy. Kept us out of rough water.. He put us onto some things to do while we're on the island. We only caught 2 fish but got several bites and it was nice that her and I got a video of the fish we caught. If you think about it, if u like being on the water even if you don't catch a fish 350 for 4 hours of fishing and boat riding isn't bad all things considered. We had a great time and almost caught a big one but it got off unfortunately.

We were in Puerto Rico for a week with the family and my 9 yr old son and I wanted to get out for a day of fishing. We did our research before the trip and Magic Tarpon seemed by all accounts to be the best option. Capt Armando paired us up with Capt Randy for a four hour trip and we were not disappointed. My son doesn't salt water flyfish yet so we wanted a bait option for him and flyfishing for me - not the easiest setup for a guide but Randy managed it perfectly and had us both on fish for the whole morning (6am-10am +). Little dog hooked and landed a 60 lb tarpon right out of the gates, and we also hooked and fought several that were larger than that on the fly and landed a couple smaller fish. The fishing was amazing, with casts into the mangroves all morning and big toilet bowl swooshes when the fish took, followed by big jumping runs and fish literally leaping into the bushes. Awesome. I fished a 9wt, which was perfect, but could have fished an 8 or 10wt just fine too. Randy set me up with the right tippet and flies. We also saw a manatee followed by a porpoise. Randy was fun to talk to throughout, and also tracked down information from a friend of his on a secret peacock bass fishing lagoon near the resort we were staying at which provided some great DIY fishing with a 5wt later in our trip.

Awesome day on the water with my brother and girlfriend! Captian Tony was an amazing guide and put us on some fish right away and even let us play the music of our choice. On the way back in he even recommend a restaurant right on the water and the food was amazing! Will definitely go back!

Really good day spent on the Puerto Rico bay fishing for tarpon. Great place especially for those that don’t like the open ocean and can still hook into large fish. Captain Randy is very friendly and good guide. Recommend the 6 hour trip, goes by very fast.

My son and I went to Puerto Rico to fish for Tarpon because it is one of the top 5 spots in the world to fish for Tarpon. I was referred to Magic Tarpon fishing charters by my neighbor. The owner was extremely professional and polite. We originally had two days booked for fishing, but the fishing and the experience was so good we went 4 days in a row. We have charted fishing captains around the world including Cape Cod, Belize, Florida and Costa Rica. Our experience with Magic Tarpon and the captain, Francesco (Frank) was the best captain I have ever fished with. He knew all the spots and secret techniques, that he shared with us but I won’t divulge, you will have to find out yourself by fishing with him. Francesco is 60 years old and has been a captain for 40 years and grew up in a fishing family and has been fishing the Puerto Rico waters since he was a boy. We are already scheduling our next trip and the only thing we will do differently is fish a few more days. Thank you Francesco and Magic Tarpon for the experience. We “Felt the Magic
