Wonderful day on the water

I showed up early and the waiting area was easy enough to find after asking someone. The catamaran was clean and well functioning.The crew kept the energy high, drinks flowing and lunch was better than expected. lunch is a sandwich, chips & pasta salad. The veggie option is a patty vs veggies which was still great and condiments were available. Snorkeling was a bust, no fish where they took us. Great attitudes from the crew the whole day, it felt safe to join this activity as a solo female traveler. I would do this again.

The best tour and crew!

The catamaran tour to Icacos was amazing. The ride and water was amazing. The crew was so fun, friendly and attentive! They catered to our needs and requests for music and drinks. You will definitely have a blast. Adrian, Eli, Marcos and our captain were great!

Great tour!! Lots of Amazing views and crew members. Will definitely recommend if you’re in Puerto Rico! The 5 hour tour still gives you plenty of free time in your day to catch more sightseeing after.

Beautiful catamaran: Barefoot IV. Very clean. Staff was entertaining and attentive! Nice lunch (better than expected). They provided all of the snorkeling equipment. "Family friendly" is hit/miss depending on other passengers. It may be uncomfortable watching younger women dancing in thong bikinis (saw one set of parents put a towel over their son's eyes for most of the return trip). Bring an umbrella for the beach as there is no shade on the island. Also, know that you must swim to the beach as the water is over your head when you disembark the boat. Anything you want to bring to the island needs to be held above your head while you tread water and swim about 20 feet to where you can touch. Snorkeling was fun! Not a ton to see, but it is an interesting reef area. Overall, a great adventure!

We are thrilled that you enjoyed your Excursion and that you had an amazing experience. Thank you for sharing. We usually anchor just a few feet from the beach to be in wait high water. It depends on the wind, because it keep moving the boat. But our very helpful Crew will always assist if needed

This trip is exactly what we were looking for our family to enjoy. Everything was so easy and enjoyable. Our guides were Eli, Danthonie, Adrian, and Robert. All were great and worked well together and kept the energy up!

Don't waste your money, these people don't respond

I bought this package directly from the company, with great enthusiasm to give a gift to my mother.

I had my tour scheduled for September 11. On the 10th they told me that they were not going to provide me with the transportation service from San Juan because the space had not been filled, so they would refund the 100 dollars that I paid for it.

On the 11th we arrived in Fajardo and, when we were all there, they told us that the tour was canceled and that they would refund our money in 5 to 7 business days. It's been over a month and my money hasn't shown up. I have written insistently to the customer service email and they don't even respond to me anymore. The last time I contacted them was on October 4th and they didn't have the slightest respect to say anything, they ran out of excuses and I lost all my money.
Do not waste your money on this experience, it is a scam and they are not responsible for what you receive.

22 of us had an amazing sunset catamaran tour! Captain Robert and his crew made us feel welcome, safe, and entertained us with the amazing views, snorkeling and rum drinks of course! Highly recommend this company and when we return to the island we will

Amazing! Don't visit Puerto Rico without using Castillo Tours!

We contacted Castillo Tours to set up multiple aspects of our family vacation. In advance they sent a detailed itinerary which included what protocols were necessary to visit the island, our transportation around the island, tours, boating, fishing and restaurant reservations.
The highlight was the Barefoot catamaran to a beautiful island, great staff, wonderful food and great rum punch!
We were able to see so much during our visit thanks to the team at Castillo!

Puerto Rico - Catamaran Excursion to Isla Icacos

I took a catamaran snorkeling day trip to Isla Icacos last weekend with 5 of my family members. It was mine and one of my daughters 2nd time on this excursion with Castillo Tours.
Once again, the crew on the Barefoot did not disappoint!
Captain Robert, Eli, Marcos and Anthony were phenomenal! They were fun, made sure everyone was enjoying themselves, played great music, had food and constant drink refills.
Once we arrived at Icacos the fun continued!
We snorkeled, hung on the beach, drank, danced, swam and had a ton of laughs. My family and I will be doing it again in a few months and hope to fill the boat with many more family members.
I highly recommend this excursion!

My only recommendation is to get a good nights rest the day before, because you are going to have a long and fun filled day in the sun! :-)

Great tour for snorkeling

This was a really fun snorkeling excursion and my group was so glad we booked with Castillo Tours. The event says to arrive by 715 AM and they depart around 8 AM. I would recommend arriving that early to get your gear, apply lotion and getting a covered seat on the catamaran. The excursion ran for about 5 hours. About 2.5 hours at Icacos Beach and another hour snorkeling. The team on board was really professional. The boat was very clean from the gear, drinking/ seating area and the bathroom. Our drinks were constantly being refilled. Comparing our boat with the other ones on the pier, ours was definitely the cleanest one from the exterior.

You get the option of Pina colada and soda with rum drinks. For lunch, we were served chips, pesto pasta, peanut free vegetarian pasta and bagged lunches which included cookies and a turkey sandwich. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience on board. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. We all felt like we got great value considering it was 5 hours for less than $100 worth of entertainment. We definitely got our $s worth with all of the alcohol and food that we consumed.
