Atabey Tours was the by far best day of my whole week in Puerto Rico. Jorge, Our Tour Guide, was a prince!!! definitely our most fun day !!! We hiked up 3 waterfalls in the rainforest, swam in a remote swimming hole, ate lunch with the locals, discovered stunning private beaches, what a dream come true! the whole day was... More

What a day! Andres was a wealth of knowledge and a great tour guide. We had an awesome trip to a beautiful, out of the way waterfall. Our group had a wonderful time. Andres showed us not only the rainforest but also around Old San Juan. I would do this trip again in a second and when I make it... More

We had such a fun day touring El Yunque with Andres. He is like a real life Mowgli from the Jungle Book. We went on a fun expedition with 2 other couples in their 20s/30s. We went swimming up to an amazing waterfall away from all tourists and learned about the different flora and fauna in the region. I highly... More

Wow Juliana! Being called "A Real-Life Mowgli" has to be one of my career highlights, Lol! That's just awesome. I'm so grateful to all our fellow travelers who share their experience here to inspire others to explore the real authentic off the beaten path Puerto Rico with us. More

Great time with Atabey Tours! Called Atabey the night before and sure enough by noon the next day we were on the way to a backroads tour of El Yunque. No tourist in sight, actually NOBODY in site. If you are looking to see Puerto Rican untouched nature, call these guys 100%!! Super nice, great vibe and really experienced with... More

We loved our private excursion with Atabey Tours! Our guide, Jorge, was fun, knowledgeable, friendly and just a great guy who we consider our friend. Based on what we told him we wanted to do, our trip involved climbing up two different waterfalls (along the boulders or walking through the water), jumping from a few small cliffs into lagoons and... We were on a cruise that was docked for only a day in San Juan. We decided to book a tour to explore the Rainforest and check out the old San Juan. We booked with the Atabey Tours based on the ratings and reviews we read on Trip Advisor. Wow! Jorge and Andres didn't disappoint. By the end of the... More

Wow! Jorge and Andres will not disappoint. They were recommended by my wedding planner, so I knew I was in good hands. They were amazing. From my first email, they were incredibly professional and helpful. While they didn't let up on too many details of the trip (I guess that's the mysterious part...), they were clear on what we wanted... More

Our family of 4 signed up for the Magical Mystery tour and although they provide some descriptions on the website, we still didn't know exactly what to expect. Our guide Jorge knew what would be best on the day of the tour (he knew it would rain on the South side so he took us to the North instead). It... More

This was the BEST tour ever!! We (our family of 4) were lucky enough to spend the day with Jorge. He asked us a few questions to get a feel for what we were looking for and our time frame and off we went on some fascinating adventures off the beaten path--a gorgeous rainforest hike to hidden waterfalls, beaches, caves,... We selected Atabey Tours based on the reviews we read on Trip Advisor and we are so glad that we did! Andres was an excellent tour guide. He took our party of four to the El Yunque Rainforest via the Yukiyu Coast. Andres did a great job of planning our trip to avoid crowds and maximize the experience. We loved... More
