So this fountain tells the story of Puerto Rico’s “roots” and has several statues at the center of it. There is a sign in Spanish and English that gives you more information about the imagery. One thing to note is avoid at sundown as I had a terrible time reading the sign or taking pictures because it was backlit.

A very attractive, impressive fountain at the edge of the harbor in the lower part of the old city area. The day I visited there were lots of families and birds here. It's worth visiting as part of walking around the Old Town area.

This is on the western coast of Old San Juan. The fountain is beautiful and has a nice view of the water also. Quite near the cruise port. Water was not flowing during my visit. Not really that busy during my visit.

A beautiful masterpiece in the heart of Old San Juan next to the water. Definitely worth a visit. We stopped for a while to look at this. Fits in perfect with the old world decor.

In a hot day the view of a fountain or running water makes you feel cooler and relaxed.
This fountain is an exquisite work of art with lots of refreshing
jets of water dancing in the hot sun.
It is by far one of the nicest finest fountains in the Caribbean I think.
Make sure you pay a visit and keep walking up to the huge wall of the citadel .I the little pocket gardens and parks you'll be able to see huge friendly iguanas and exotic plants and flowers.

We've been here before but last time it was closed off.

We love the area and it's along the water walkway. This fountain is huge and has a lot to see around it. It's located at the end of the main road. It's a great little area to hang out for a while and watch the pelicans diving in the ocean for fish.

Fountain is definitely better at night with it's colored lights but it is also the springboard for 2 other activities - one a gateway for the ocean side walk around Castillo Morro and other is for great springtime sunsets over the bay. Both require good weather but are both fun from this fountain spot.

The fountain is located at the end of the La Princesa Sidewalk. A beautiful view of San Juan Bay. Excellent place to chitchat with friends.

It's a really beautiful fountain and very much like what you'd see in Europe. Made with great artistry and care as they should be and you won't find much else like it on the mainland. Go see it and enjoy for half an hour or so. Great for families and couples.
