Both forts are excellent. This one is a little smaller and easier to imagine the activities of olde and uses of space. This fort closes at 5, the other at 6 if you are trying to buy time.

My husband is into forts--he dragged me along. It was worth the visit--but once is enough. It is impressive to have stood the test of time and some pretty impressive stone work.

To see how years ago things were made for the duration of time is truly amazing. Walking throughout this structure , you see the time and attention that was given for the design of this fort. A must see on your list for San Juan.

we come to the fort every year as we enjoy looking out to the ocean and all the historic memories it has. This year we saw a canon been fired at 5pm. that was very cool experience.
