Nice to see!

My husband is into forts--he dragged me along. It was worth the visit--but once is enough. It is impressive to have stood the test of time and some pretty impressive stone work.

If you are in Puerto Rico you can't leave without seeing the history of these forts and the history of the Islands.

Both forts are excellent. This one is a little smaller and easier to imagine the activities of olde and uses of space. This fort closes at 5, the other at 6 if you are trying to buy time.

We could see this from the balcony of the Hilton Caribe hotel room, small well maintained fort at the entrance to the Condado Lagoon.

Absolutely a must see when in Old San Juan. 5 bucks gets you admission into both forts and you just have to experience it. The views overlooking the Atlantic ocean and the bay of Puerto Rico are amazing. The whole place is interesting and you will get the best pictures of your life.

To see how years ago things were made for the duration of time is truly amazing. Walking throughout this structure , you see the time and attention that was given for the design of this fort. A must see on your list for San Juan.

we come to the fort every year as we enjoy looking out to the ocean and all the historic memories it has. This year we saw a canon been fired at 5pm. that was very cool experience.

Pulled into San Juan on a very nice clear day. The ship docks right at the base of the old town with both ends of the fort at easy walking distance. Hiked first to Castillo San Cristobal (no more than three city blocks from the ship); then we took the parks department free shuttle to Castillo San Felipe del Morro... More
